We had an amazing experience. Andres was with us for the 3 weeks and he was very caring. He was a brilliant guide and companion. Miguel, Lionel, Janier, Cielo and Sebastian were also brilliant and caring. We had Jason (who was with a different travel agency) in The Lost Forest who wasn't as personable as the others. Santiago was also very professional in all his dealings. I would highly recommend Quimbayas
The best experience we have ever had, with all my friends we really enjoyed the knowledge and the great experience Santiago has of the mountain. He was always very attentive to everyone and I present the mountain with all the respect he deserves. 100% recommended to have a wonderful experience.
It is in the middle of the Andes and is crossed by the highway that goes from San Agustin to Popayan. The Puracé National Natural Park is located in the biosphere reserve of the Andean belt, the Colombian Massif region belonging to the Central Andes mountain range in Colombia. Its surface is part of the departments of Cauca and Huila. Its altitude is 4646 meters above sea level; In the park is the Puracé volcano, one of the most active volcanoes in Colombia that is part of the Coconucos volcanic chain.1 It also includes part of the Colombian Massif, where four of the largest rivers in Colombia originate: Magdalena , Cauca, Caquetá and Patía.
