Elektrische Fatbike-Tour ab Rovaniemi

Martin was a fabulous guide. He balanced our safety with our sense of adventure. We took several short breaks to learn about the area and also to share water, blueberry juice, and cinnamon rolls. The 16 miles flew by and we saw a lot of Rovaniemi and surrounding area. We are senior citizens and yet, riding an electric bike for the first time, brought back wonderful childhood memories.

What a fantastic way to see Rovaniemi! Loic was our guide and shared just the perfect amount of information. He kept us going at a perfect pace for our family, but was open to stops whenever we wanted to take pictures or get information about sites that we were seeing. He was conversational and very kind. The fat tire bikes were easy to use and such a huge help when riding up the hills in the forest. The road he took us on is used as a cross country skiing course during the winter so it’s wide enough to accommodate side-by-side riding. We would highly recommend doing this activity!

We took a two day overnight e fat bike tour - visited a small local family reindeer farm and stayed overnight in a cabin on a lake. It was easily the highlight of our time in Finland. The mountain biking was definitely challenging- but can be adapted to meet anyone’s needs. Our guide took us off the beaten path which was resulted in an exciting adventure that we will remember for time to come. The reindeer farm visit felt authentic and we enjoyed our meal there. And the highlight of the trip was staying at the small rustic cabin on a lake with traditional sauna - which was a reward after a long day of biking. This is definitely an experience that we highly recommend! Nordic Odyssey took care of all details and supplies and our guide was great!
