Der Kuiburi-Nationalpark ist der einzige Ort in Thailand, an dem mehr als 320 geschützte wilde Elefanten leben und Sie haben die einzigartige 90 - 95%ige Möglichkeit, sie in dieser unberührten Tierwelt zu sehen. Neben asiatischen Elefanten und Gaurs sind die anderen relativ häufigen Säugetiere Goldschakale, verschiedene Hirsche, Languren, Weißhandgibbons, burmesische Hasen, malaiische Stachelschweine und Wildschweine. Kui Buri hat eine reiche Vogelfauna mit derzeit über 260 Arten. Kammfalken, graue Pfauenfasane, Eisenrebhühner, Tickells Braunhornschnabel, Weißkronenhornschnabel, Braunfischeulen, gelb belüftete grüne Tauben, Weißstirn-Zwergohreulen, Schnurrbartfalken, Rothalshornschnabel, Blauhalspapageien, Kastanien-Nickel-Gabelschwänze, Rotbärtige Bienenfresser, Maronenspecht. Es gibt auch Vögel wie den Kamm-Feuerrücken-, Indianerroller- und Asiatischen Offenschnabelvogel oder sogar Gauers und Leoparden.

Reiseverlauf
Nach einer eineinhalbstündigen Fahrt erreichen wir das Kui Buri Visitor Center und steigen vom Nationalpark in ein geführtes Safarifahrzeug um. Wir reisen zum Huai Luek Wildlife Area und warten, bis die Elefanten und andere Tiere auf der Suche sind. Wir besuchen auch den schönen trockenfeuchten Wald und beobachten Vögel wie den Kamm-Feuerrücken, die Indische Walze und den Asiatischen Löffelschnabel! Gelegentlich können wir auch Gauner und Leoparden beobachten. Bitte beachten Sie vor der Buchung: Dieser Ausflug ist kein Zoobesuch. In diesem Nationalpark gibt es noch etwa 320 geschützte Wildelefanten, und die Chance, Elefanten in freier Wildbahn und auf unwegsamem Gelände zu sehen, liegt bei etwa 90-95 Prozent. Wir können jedoch nicht zu 100 Prozent garantieren, dass oder wie viele Elefanten Sie sehen werden. Manchmal sieht man sie aus der Ferne oder nur wenige hundert Meter entfernt. Es gibt auch viele andere Tiere zu beobachten, wie Vögel und Gaurs. Wir bleiben etwa 3 Stunden im Park oder manchmal, bis es fast dunkel wird.
Nach dem Besuch des Nationalparks essen wir ein typisches Thai-Dinner in einem Thai-Restaurant in der Nähe des Nationalparks, um die Einheimischen zu unterstützen, bevor wir zu Ihrem Hotel zurückkehren

It was an incredibly beautiful experience, including the sighting of a herd of elephants with about 30 animals in front of us while crossing the road.
Easy clean process. Group of 8 with efficient pickup at each hotel. Engaging guide. Good ranger with good sightings in the park. Open air riding in pickup truck was a surprise as well as focus on four viewing stations where most got out of the truck.
Great experience with the agency and M our guide! Message on Tripadvisor and Whatsapp the day before to confirm and specify the pick-up. (Allow about 30 minutes to gather everyone). M was smiling and friendly, allowing us to experience this incredible moment while providing relevant information at the right time. We were lucky to see a lot of elephants (about thirty) and dozens of gaurs. The park staff was great too :) Thank you!
I glad that I did the tour. Our guide Amp was an excellent how providing commentary on the way when things of interest came along. As we approached the park, the Mango Trees, Pineapple Fields, and Rubber Trees were interesting to see on the Farms. Once we arrived at the parks we drove out in pick-ups. You should understand that the main view is at 2 view points. We spent an hour an a half at the first one with a number of other people. We didn’t see much the first hour and then a number of gaur came through the forest and we also saw a Thai deer and a number of birds. Al we were leaving one of th guides spotted an elephant (or 1/2 an elephant, as we could only see the back). Bring some snacks for this part. We then left for the 2nd viewpoint where you only stop for 15 to 20 minutes. Here we saw a male elephant and a heard of gaur. We then headed out and stopped for dinner. Dinner was very nice and they had the food on the table as we walked up. This is a national park experience and there is no guarantee that you will see anything, so in the end it was well worth the trip.
Fab experience saw elephants, monitor lizards and hornbills. The guide was brilliant and was really enthusiastic.

A safari at 2 pm with 35 degrees in the shade!!! Result in 3 hours of time: 5 elephants at 50, 1 buffalo in a pond and 2 varans!!!! A DISASTER , to flee where you have to love to waste your time and money..... Not worth a visit

I also apologize for the hot weather in the national park, though the climate in Thailand is generally very hot year-round. I’m sorry as well that you only saw five wild elephants, but as stated in the description before booking, we cannot guarantee how many elephants you will encounter.
We were picked up at the resort by the world's most beautiful guide. It was a long drive, but he was very knowledgeable and told a lot about what we saw along the way. When we arrived we were so lucky to get to see four wild elephants, one stood about 30 m from us. It all ended with a delicious dinner on the way back. Can definitely be recommended. Great day.
