Wir werden einen Zwischenstopp an der Statue einlegen, die an die galicische Auswanderung erinnert, wo wir anhand von Lolas Geschichte ein Zeugnis davon ablegen werden, was im Laufe des 20. Jahrhunderts in Galicien geschah.
Über den Radweg erreichen wir das schöne Fischerviertel Bouzas. Wir radeln entlang der Küste und halten an den Estatuas dos Peixes, um die wichtigsten zu besprechen und den Prozess der Seepocken- und Muschelernte sowie ihre kulinarischen Geheimnisse zu erklären. Wir nutzen die Lage des Citroen-Terminals im Hafen von Bouzas, um die Bedeutung der Ankunft des französischen Unternehmens in Vigo und die dadurch verursachten Veränderungen in der Stadt zu erklären.
Wir werden die schöne Aussicht auf den Strand von Samil sowie einen privilegierten Blick auf die Cíes-Inseln genießen können. Wir werden die Strände von Los Olmos, La Fuente und Alcabre sehen können
Wir werden den schönen Weg des Flusses Lagares entlang gehen, bis wir den Strand von Samil erreichen
Wir werden Ihnen die wichtigsten Merkmale des Vereins vorstellen und Ihnen zeigen, wie Oliveira dos cen anos entstanden ist, eine Hymne, die über den Fußball hinausgeht. Eine Hommage an die galicische Kultur, Geschichte und Tradition Wir werden etwas über den Einfluss des Stellantis-Werks (Citroen-PSA) auf die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung von Vigo in den letzten 50 Jahren erfahren.
Wir erkunden die Altstadt von Vigo anhand von Berichten aus erster Hand über die Geschichte Vigos in den letzten 50 Jahren. Wir werden auch einen Zwischenstopp am Aussichtspunkt Olivo einlegen, von dem aus Sie den Blick auf die Vigo-Mündung genießen können. Wenn möglich, werden wir Antonios kleine Korbflechterei-Werkstatt besuchen, ein lebendiges Stück Vigoer Geschichte.

We had a wonderful bike tour. Javier and Luis were excellent tour guides. They kept us safe and took us to so many interesting and beautiful places. We got a good taste of beautiful Vigo. We could understand their speaking and they were personable and so friendly. I would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting.

Javi is a wonderful guide! The tour was a great way to see parts of the city, old town, and the waterfront. It was a full 3-hour experience. We stopped several times along the way and Javi provided engaging historical talks, often with a connection to his parents and grandparents. The e-bikes were like new and worked well. A very good tour with Javi telling us lots about Vigo’s history & Galicia and his own family’s story. Although it was a bit rainy and cold we saw some lovely views of the beaches and islands. The e-bikes are excellent and easy to pedal up the hills. There are not many cyclists in Vigo so Javi took good care of us on the roads.

This was a fantastic experience! We enjoyed seeing a wide variety of sights and being on the E-bikes was great because we were outdoors and could travel easily. Our guide was very knowledgeable and has a deep connection to the area. He gave good explanations about the history and culture and told interesting stories. Highly recommended for a great experience to see the sights of Vigo.

This was INCREDIBLE! We had a fourteen day trip across Europe and this was one of my favorite tours! The guide was so amazing and welcoming and knowledgeable. We were the only ones who signed up for our time slot so we had a private tour. What an amazing experience! Stop what you’re doing and book this tour!!!!
This trip turned out to be the best day of our holiday. Javier was the best tour guide. He speaks extremely good English and is very knowledgeable about the history of Vigo. The bikes were in excellent order and were very easy to ride following a short period of instruction before heading out. Amongst many stops to learn about Vigo’s many trades, industry and leisure we stopped off for a short tour around a small wicker business which was unexpected but extremely interesting. We would have no hesitation in recommending.
We thoroughly enjoyed our E-bike tour with Biking Vigo. We saw a little bit of everything during our 17-mile ride (3 hours), from the Old Town, to the waterfront, stadium and beautiful beaches. The ride was very scenic and manageable - good for all riders. We highly recommend!
