Erleben Sie die natürliche Schönheit des El Yunque National Forest auf einem geführten Abenteuer von San Juan aus. Nach der Abholung von unseren ausgewiesenen Standorten reisen Sie in den Regenwald und fahren fast 1.600 Fuß über dem Meeresspiegel, um vom Aussichtsturm Yokahú einen atemberaubenden Blick auf Puerto Ricos Ostküste zu genießen. Halten Sie an den berühmten La Coca Falls für Fotos an, bevor Sie sich auf eine kurze 15-minütige Wanderung zum schönen Mameyes River begeben, wo Sie in erfrischenden natürlichen Pools schwimmen können (Wetter erlaubt). Nach etwa zwei Stunden Erkundung des Regenwaldes geht es weiter zum Strand Luquillo und dem berühmten Kioskbereich, wo Sie am Strand entspannen, lokale Speisen und Getränke genießen oder einfach die Küstenatmosphäre genießen können.

Nach der Abholung fahren wir ca. 40 min zum El Yunque National Rainforest. In diesem Bereich machen wir 3 Stopps; Yokahu Tower, La Coca Falls und eine Naturwanderung von 15 min, die uns Mameyes Fluss zum Schwimmen bringt.
Dieser 69 Fuß lange Turm wurde von Dr. Frank H. Wadsworth (ehemaliger Forest Supervisor und Direktor von IITF) in den frühen 1960er Jahren gebaut. Vom Yokahú-Turm aus können vier Arten des Waldes betrachtet werden: Colorado (glatt nach Süden), Tabonuco (unregelmäßige Umgebung mit weißblättrigen Yagrumos), Palm (an den steilen Hängen) und Nebelwald (an den Bergrücken) sind alle zusammen mit der Küste und bis zu den Jungferninseln an einem klaren Tag (16 Meilen + Aussicht) sichtbar.
Auf einer Höhe von 1.476 Fuß (450 Meter) über dem Meeresspiegel, La Coca Falls ist ein spektakulärer Wasserfall! Das Wasser der La Coca Falls fällt 26 Meter auf eine riesige Felsformation am Fuße der Fälle. Dies ist ein ausgezeichneter Ort, um Fotos zu machen.
Von seinem Quellgebiet im Naturgebiet Baño de Oro Research bis zur Grenze des El Yunque National Forest. Wild — 2,1 Meilen; Landschaftlich — 1,4 Meilen; Freizeit — 1,0 Meilen; Insgesamt — 4,5 Meilen. In diesem Fluss, der als einer der wichtigsten in El Yunque gilt, befinden sich mehrere natürliche Pools. Schwimmen / Klippensprung und Seilschaukel / bei Wetterbedingungen anhängig.
Der Strand von Luquillo gilt als einer der schönsten im Norden der PR. Hier finden Sie rund 36 Kioske, in denen Sie Souvenirs einkaufen oder ein lokales gastronomisches Erlebnis haben können.

What a fun and relaxing day and our Guide/Driver Christian made the day extra special with his knowledge and sharing information about Puerto Rico and the outlook, falls, river, and beach we visited. Well worth the trip! We probably wouldn’t have visited these places on our own

This is a fun excursion around the rainforest and mountains of Puerto Rico. Great views/scenery, with a nice stop at a nice beach at the end for swimming, drinks, and snacks. The driver/tour guide was very good, responsive, and informative.
Our tour guide, Christian, went above & beyond. He made sure we had adequate amount of time at each site. He was incredibly knowledgeable. He gave us recommendations on where to eat & they did not disappoint. Everything was so great!
I had booked this tour the afternoon of the day prior with the tour to go at 9am the next day. I happened to look at my phone early morning day off and saw that they had canceled my trip, sending an email around 11:45pm I believe because of low numbers. So no text or call or anything. As we are only here a short time, ruined our schedule for El Yunque. Extremely unprofessional.

We’d like to clarify that we never cancel tours due to low numbers — the only reason we ever cancel is for safety reasons, typically related to weather conditions in El Yunque. Jonathan was a wonderful guide! He shared knowledge consistently throughout the trip, took us to some great spots and allotted plenty of time to soak everything up and enjoy what we were doing. Book this one.
