Einzigartig: Corcovado und Christusstatue

Our trip began by basically picking everyone up in a 16 passenger van from various locations in the city hotels. Ursula was our tour guide. The van ride up the mountain was extremely bouncy. The road was rough and had many twist and turns. Suggest if you take this don't eat before getting on this ride. You might throw up. We had to get off the one van and transfer onto another bc the CTR christ the redeemer had their own vans that go up. Once you arrive you are herded towards a ticket area where the gift shop is located. She hands everyone their ticket. Hold onto it you'll need it to get out. You only really have like 20-30 minutes to take pictures. Its crowded as can be expected. Even though the time slot allotted said 2 hours tour and 30 minutes for the gift shop. Once we met back to the bottom of thr CTR stairs. Ursala contacted the driver right away not allowing us to have any time for the gift shop. She apologized and said if she had known sooner she wouldn't have called the shuttle driver. This was upsetting because my daughter really wanted to get some souvenirs as it was our very first time in Brazil and this was the only real thing she wanted to do. The Fact that Ursala did not keep the original itinerary was deceiving and upsetting. If you want more time for pictures and scenic view just do a different tour. Then after CTR we had to drop a few people to another tour for sugar loaf, where she left with that tour group and the rest of us who only booked for CTR were returned to our original hotel starting point. I would recommend doing the train up and down and not feel rushed and nauseated from the bouncy and winding road trip and maybe even have more time to do so at a leisurely pace. You live and learn.

We were picked up on time and the guide Karen was very kind and informative. It was a very nice experience and we were lucky, no ques. The weather was also nice

I booked the Christ the redeemer tour only. They picked us up at the hotel and then proceeded to pick the remainder of the group over 2.5 hours. Once all members were picked up, we were notified by the tour guide that we were actually part of a longer tour that included more sites even though we only booked Christ the redeemer. The duration of the tour is listed as approximately 3 hours but we were with the tour group from 7:45 AM to 1:30 PM. This activity is falsely advertised. We were moved to the wrong tour which added many extra stops and we missed our next activity because of this.

The tour surprised us, we got so much more than what we expected. A first class experience with a very good guide. Very pleased.

An incredible tour! Our guide Thiago was so helpful and kind, making sure we had space to take photos and getting us all organized. Highly recommend this tour, you won’t be disappointed!

The skip the line feature was great! Allowed us to jump on the first train headed up! The Statue of the Redeemer was amazing! Did not disappoint at all! Happy I made the purchase!

I booked the tour specifically to go to Christ the Redeemer which was sold as a 3 hour tour. I was packed in a van with 14 people and taken all over the city of Rio to other destinations for over 5 hours. I questioned the guide why I was not returned to my hotel after going to Christ the Redeemer, because I had plans for the day. He basically ignored my request and said we would be done soon. He said I would be dropped off first to my hotel, he then left several of us on van with the driver and went on another tour. I was dropped off last.

In the beginning I was slightly frustrated, because I assumed this was a private tour to visit Christ the Redeemer only to discover it was a group tour with many sights. Overall it was a good tour. 👍🏽
