This was one of the highlights of our trip to Florence. Having timed-entry tickets made the experience so much smoother and saved us from waiting in long lines. The Accademia Gallery was incredible, especially seeing Michelangelo’s David in person. Photos don’t do it justice—the detail and scale are breathtaking. The Uffizi Gallery is equally impressive, with an amazing collection of Renaissance masterpieces. Even if you’re not an art expert, it’s easy to appreciate the beauty, history, and significance of the works on display. The entire process was well organized, and the timed entry allowed us to make the most of our day without feeling rushed. I highly recommend booking these tickets for anyone visiting Florence. It’s an unforgettable experience and well worth it.
The staff was great to accommodate us when we arrived late for our scheduled tour. We had difficulty locating the office as our phones had trouble with service. A small map with your location in the city may have been helpful in us locating your office.
Both museums were excellent, I only wish we paid for the guided small tour for 10 euros more at the Accademia. The ticket situation was a little confusing but we figured it out once we went to the ticket office near the Duomo. It wasn’t clear when we bought the tickets online that the timed entry was first for the Uffizi, and then the timed entry for the Accademia was a few hours after that. Prepare for crazy crowds, and much of Uffizi was under construction as of early June. We were still able to enjoy the incredible art, and of course, the David is spectacular.
We utilized this ‘tour’ to gain access to the museums where it was sold out elsewhere. It did afford skip the line access. One thing to note is that you will pick up your tickets to the Uffizi 45 minutes before your start time (this is not mentioned in the pick up instructions which is why people complain about being turned away), once you get the Uffizi tickets you are also issued a voucher for the Accademia to be picked up 5 minutes before a set start time 3 hours later. This gives you 3 hours in the Uffizi which is enough time. Be sure to pick up your Accademia tickets with your whole group for the designated time slot as you are then lead over to the group entry door. If you are even five minutes late for your time slot you miss skip the line and end up in the main queue. Note: this is NOT a tour, simply skip the line access as the name implies. Audio tours are available to rent for the Uffizi.
I brought my daughter and grand daughter to visit the Uffizi Gallery in May, 2026. This is my fourth visit over the last twenty years. I was profoundly disappointed in the experience. We paid for skip the line tickets, yet were required to stand in the sun among hundreds of others, waiting to enter. The tour of the museum was literally body to body, with limited time allowed to enjoy the history and the art. Many works that I remember, were no longer on display, specifically the Rembrandt Self-portrait, which I dearly love. We waited in another line to stand at the door of the major 1500th century works, viewing the work at some distance and given 8 seconds to experience the work and to take a photo through the roped off entry door space. Our limited ability to view the artwork was disappointing. No view was available of the work on the wall backing to the hallway and the view across the large room was severally limited. We understand that there are security issues, however so severely limiting the experience of this historically important artwork is an unprofessional and anti-social solution to a problem directors are expected to resolve in a more humanitarian and respectful manner.
This was one skip the line/times entrance tickets I purchased through TripAdvisor that was well worth it. The tour company was easy to find. They provided great instructions and provided printed tickets for the Uffizi. Once we arrived at the Uffizi, we may have waited 10 minutes and we were in. Following we made our way to the second tour location where they were able to facilitate our earlier entry into the Academia. We again maybe waited 10 minutes and were inside. They also provided a nice gift of a print of a painting from the Uffizi!
Well organized tour. Information is very rich.
Although I originally found it confusing to think I had to go to a redemption center to pick up my tickets I found the staff at thetwo redemption centers we want to extremely helpful and everything went very smoothly. We were very happy to have these tickets and not to have to wait in some of the crazy lines that others wait in.
Thankfully we caught up with our tour (Taxis were on strike and we came from a cruise port) to experience one of the highlights of our vacation. Cosetta, our tour guide, had a wealth of knowledge about the sculptures and paintings we viewed. She presented unique information which helped us appreciate what we saw in a new way. Highly recommend this tour and kudos to Cosetta for her expertise.
This is a ripoff they charge you 2.5 times the entry ticket fee and no advantage to skip the line for the. They don’t allow you to choose your time to enter the museums so screwed up our whole schedule that day.
