Experience was a wonderful audio tour with a guide for the Duomo Cathedral in the middle of Florence. We went to the meeting point and met our God and we’re given a great necklace lanyard that had the audio earphones ready to go. As soon as she began talking to our group, we followed her and listen to every word through our device. She was a great guide & very informative from beginning to end it was fantastic. Highly recommend.
No queues, no fuss, just pure Renaissance magic. The audio guide was brilliant—packed with cool facts without being overwhelming. If you want to see Florence’s crown jewel without the headache, this ticket is it!
You may skip the line for regular tickets but you'll wait in the sun for 50 minutes before entering the cathedral. The tour assistant kept adding people who hadn't booked ahead to the front of our line until we entered. Guide was informative but hard to understand at times. It may have been due to the interruptions over and over to add people. Made him lose his place. Honestly, just buy a pamphlet and ticket online.

Great way to get entry at opening. Opens at 10:15am - schedule your tour for 10:00and you’ll be inside in no time. Very knowledable tour guide - Manuela.
Quite easy to get in touch with the guide, but the area around the pick-up was a little unsafe due to the behaviour of the street salesmen. The guide did a good job on the outside of the church explaining how the tour would progress. Inside she talked too much and about people instead of the church in itself. Be a guide not making sure everybody knows how great Firenze is, we know 😉

The website suggests that you could enter the cathedral with priority, but that is not true. The "audio guides" are a page from the web that you get access to, and then you have an audio file of about 1.5 hours! You then just stand in line as usual and wait your hour! English-speaking guests receive an audio guide and a guided tour by a person; for purely German-speaking guests, the offer is not worth it!

That you have to wait in line for more than an hour despite having an online ticket. There is no smooth entry process.
