I have visited many zoos this ranks in my top 5. Its a medium sized zoo. Water extremely over priced. Enjoyed seeing the animals. Was not aware of the water attraction based on website. 3 hours was plenty. Lots of shade to help combat the heat.
Humid, but fun. The ride was cool and the bus was clean. I enjoyed the gorillas and the water fountain
The zoo is beautiful, the setting of each section is spectacular, and the animals are very varied. Unfortunately, in the Asia section, practically all the animals were kept away, and we could not see them (tiger, bear, elephant, etc.)
This zoo was very big lots of animal from many places from around the world all admission and stores restaurants proceeds go the zoo and care of the animals. We got the combination tickets that also included the Aquarium because you don’t have to do them both the same day. One is indoor and one is outdoor so you can pick the proper one by the weather conditions.
Been to several zoos worldwide plus San Diego in US this by far the worse Run down, overpriced including the refreshments Fewest animals we've seen. Felt sorry for the lonely elephant that looked forlorn and depressed Walkways unfit for accessibility Do not waste time and money visiting
The Audubon zoo is always our favorite over the years! Especially for Mother’s Day. There were a lot of things that were closed, unfortunately, and a train was broken. Two of our favorite things are the seals and the train and they were both out of service. Did Louisiana exhibit was fabulous as always! The food at the Caffe there was on point New Orleans, delicious. Overall, the zoo is always clean, refreshments everywhere to cool you off, and the staff is friendly.
I have been to other zoos in other cities. Nowhere that I have gone compares to ours. It is well worth the money. A must-see for any visitor to the area.
We took our granddaughter to the zoo today and had a wonderful time with her. She loved seeing all the animals.
Plan accordingly, it is very hig and there are places for younger kids to play, even adults. Wish there were more animals to see. Some enclosures were empty or what was display you couldn't see. It's understandable the zoo my be relocating or changing things. Overall the zoo was enjoyable. To see my 16yr daughter get excited was the best experience!
Only thing we wish we could of done was feed the animals but it was closed for that ,but we have memberships so excited to see for my hubbys next hitch in
