Great view but the smoke from the Canadian wildfires partially obscured what we could see. For some unexplained reason, the bar was closed.
Certainly a beautiful view if the visibility is good. Unfortunately, it was quite hazy during our visit due to forest fires in Canada (!!).
My Family decided to do this impromptu before our admission to the 9/11 museum. We had no problem paying the fee to go up to the top but it was a little annoying all the “extras” you had to do just to get up to the top and see the views. You have to stop and get your picture taken for photos they try to sell you when you get to the top. You also have to stop and watch a movie about New York before they present the view to you which wasn’t bad but sometimes you just want to go up and see. It doesn’t need to be a whole experience. We had a perfect blue sky day so the views were incredible and the kids loved the elevator ride up and down. Super fast and fun. I would definitely recommend it to a person visiting NYC but I think it is kind of a one and done experience.
It was an horrific experience. I paid 103.44 dollars for two tickets at a kiosk inside the building. I didn’t receive the tickets. I was told to see a person downstairs and he will give me the tickets. The employee downstairs told me that he will charge me again because the kiosks sometimes malfunction and they will gave me a refund for the first charge in 5 to 10 business days. I declined to be charged again. They didn’t give me tickets and now I have to chase them to get my money back.
The views are exceptional if you go on a clear day. We went in the morning and it wasn't too crowded at all; basically had it to ourselves. There are a few benches tou can sit and take in the views and a restaurant.
The audio visual and design are outstanding. Worth the money! Do it.
Perfect for this experience with multiple stages and successive discoveries and an exceptional life on the azimuths of NY
We went first thing in the morning and there was no crowd. Being entirely inside, unlike Empire State Bldg or the Edge, there was no wind and the view was less scary
One World Observatory delivers an unforgettable experience. audio-visual presentation is available. The main observation deck is fully enclosed in glass, offering seamless, 360-degree views. you get unparalleled lookouts over the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges, the Statue of Liberty, and the rolling expanse of the Hudson and East Rivers. I would suggest reach there around sunset time to get beautiful views before and after sunset.
This was my second time visiting One World Observatory and the One Dine Restaurant. Both times have been a wonderful experience! The views by day and night are beautiful, with 360 degree views of the city, including the Statue of Liberty. The sunset from above is gorgeous! Every employee from the door and elevator greeters, to the waitresses, and the supervisor on duty at One Dine (Matthew) was very attentive to details to make sure that every guests needs were beyond satisfactory from the moment they entered until the time they left. The food was also magnificent! (Make sure to try the cauliflower appetizer! You won't regret it!) Be sure to put the One World Observatory on your agenda when visiting New York City!
