Einführung in Tromsø : Eine Audiotour mit Selbstführung

Beschreibung

We didn’t make it as the ship arrived too late into Tromso
Used GPS and Bluetooth to simplify things. Good information, good route, easy to use.
DO NOT BUY VOICE MAP Tromso !!! We spent the money for nothing! -No real explanation on how this thing works, -I assume you need to start at a specific place, we could not get it to work from another place -it had a problem with determining our position using GPS -lots of flaws -It crashed several times
Hi, I'm sorry that you were unhappy with your experience. When you were having technical difficulties, did you contact VoiceMap support via email or telephone? We are contactable by both telephone and email, so if you have technical difficulties, please reach out to us so we can identify what is going wrong. Again, I'm sorry about the poor experience you had. Best, Alicia
Tromsø is a sympathetic town, the city tour was short-lived, a bit short for the money, but interesting. You should make them right at the beginning of the journey.
There is not much to see in Tromsø itself. Not much to do either - but good places to eat and/or drink (prices are usually fair, people are nice and well-behaved, there are no safety concerns). But there are a lot to see, all around, not so far from the town. So, it is a good place for lodging. Note : a this moment (end of June 2025), there is a lot construction/repairs work going on here., in the streets. It is slightly annoying, considering the noise, the dirt and also some alteration of the immediate scenery. The never-ending daylight is quite an experience...
30 minutes of the main highlights. There are longer organized tours, but this gave us all we needed to appreciate this lovely town.
It is well produced but seems a little thin. For the price , it's not bad, but don't expect much. We think you can buy one tour and share on two phones, but that was not clear in any of the instructions. So we paid for two tours and probably didn't need to.
Hi there, I'm sorry that you were unhappy with your experience. Can you tell us a bit more about what you mean by "seems a little thin" or email more information to support@voicemap.me? Your first instinct was correct, you have to purchase one tour per person. When you buy multiple copies of the same tour through Tripadvisor, we provide you with one code that everyone in your group can use to avoid confusion but the code is only valid for the number of tours you've purchased. Best,
I left this to our last afternoon and the link did not work. I tried and my son tried and it came up with an 'invalid code' message. As I left this for my last experience i did not believe I would get a response sufficiently quickly to be able to do the walk, so did not try.
Hi there, I'm sorry that you were unhappy with your experience. The tour assumes the cruiseship docks in Tromso with the starting point close by. Our cruiseship docked 2kl out of the city with the shuttle in to Tromso dropping us off in the middle of downtown. We asked for directions to the statue starting point and were directed to a statue but the wrong one. We used the tour but found out we were following it backwards. Dialoque was still quite good at all of the points of interest. Polar musseum was very good.
I downloaded the tour and it was not too long, not too short, it was just right! We went at our own pace and could stop the narration to go into shops or take photos. Glad we did it!
