Bei Flavours Food Tours erklären wir nicht nur die Geschichte der Stadt Savannah, ihre Kultur und Architektur, sondern verbinden diese Geschichte auch mit der Küche und den typischen Trankopfern des Südens und des Tieflandes. Sie werden überrascht sein, wie viel Sie aus einem Schluck Shrimp N Grits und gebratenen grünen Tomaten lernen können! Unsere Touren sind klein, persönlich und intim. Ein bisschen so, als würde man einen freundlichen, sachkundigen Einheimischen anrufen, der einem die Gegend zeigt. Unsere Mittagstour ist sättigend (genug für eine Mahlzeit) und besucht bis zu fünf Feinschmeckerlokale, wobei ein alkoholisches Getränk im Preis inbegriffen ist. Alle unsere Restaurantpartner zeichnen sich durch hervorragende Beispiele für typische Gerichte des Südens aus. Schaffe etwas Atmosphäre mit unseren kuscheligen Beignets, den berühmten Shrimp ’n Grits und der cremigen, verträumten Krabbensuppe. Krönen Sie den Abend mit einem klassischen Dessert zum Sitzen. Steige auf und scheine! This was well worth our time and money. We had the chance to eat some local fare we may not have tried on our own. The food served wasn't small portions. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the food and history of Savannah. Do not hesitate to put this on your Savannah itinerary.
Great experience, Jessica and Marcy were very knowledgeable about the history and the food was excellent. Well worth the money.
We really enjoyed our food tour in Savannah. Michael was our guide and he was a wealth of knowledge about Savannah and the origins of the tasty items we sampled. Our group was a total of eight which we felt was a perfect size. We are very glad we took the morning tour as it gets a bit warm in the early afternoon.

Our guide Jessica was friendly, knowledgeable, and made every stop interesting with stories about Savannah’s culture and history. She is personable with the ability to engage the tour group and we felt like we made some new friends. The 5 locations with excellent food selections gave us a real taste of the city. We appreciated her making sure that different options for allergies were available. We especially loved the Southern specialties and learning about the restaurants and local traditions behind each dish. The walking pace was comfortable, and we enjoyed exploring areas we probably would have missed on our own. We would highly recommend this walking tour to anyone visiting Savannah who wants a fun, delicious experience.

Great food tour! Jessica was friendly and took good care of us. The foods were delicious -- shrimp & grits, Beignets, fried green tomatoes, she-crab soup, cheese croquettes, and ice cream. We were with a nice group of people and enjoyed ourselves. Highly recommend!

Tis was so wonderful. Not only did we get to eat extremely tasty food and learn about those dishes' individual histories, but we also were given some history of Savannah as well as the restaurants we visited. Our tour guide was so well informed and engaging. I will recommend this tour to anyone.

This three hour food walking tour with Rebecca was a highlight of my Savannah visit. The food and beverage choices were nicely spaced and planned. The restaurants were located in the historic area but a bit off beat and each one had an interesting story.
