Marina is such a wonderful guide. She gave us so much interesting information and made everything just an adventure for us. We knew a little of the story going in but you get so much to see and remember from her tour. One of the best times we’ve had in Ireland.
Excellent tour of the grounds and castle. You have to kiss the stone, and especially have Anne as your tour guide! She has a wealth of knowledge and is an excellent story teller!

The Blarney Castle tour is so much more than a simple tour. We walked through Blarney Village and learned a bit of history and then went onto the castle grounds. We walked the beautiful gardens and learned so much more than just the castle. Of course we kissed the Blarney Stone and enjoyed the castle architecture and fantastic views at each level. Michael our tour guide was amazing! He had great information to share, but more importantly he was so friendly and patient with our two year old grandchildren. We would highly recommend this tour and Michael and are thankful for the experience.

The group met in the town of Blarney. Plan ahead to determine hours you will get there. We came from the cruise port so it was a 40- minute taxi ride. The group was small (a positive). The guide -Leonard - was knowledgeable and spoke English very well. We had group access to the gardens, but not to the castle. That was disappointing.

Maryna clearly knew her way around Blarney and the castle grounds, with so many lovely spots to stop and admire the scenery and take photos. The castle itself had a bit of a line when we arrived, and she suggested going around the gardens instead and coming back (the tickets are good all day) and she was right - by early afternoon there was no line at all and we could get straight in. But the grounds and gardens are the unexpected best part of the tour, and Maryna was fun and interesting with lots of insights! And she'll help you with taking group photos! Highly recommended
