Auf dieser Tour können Sie Ihre Fähigkeiten testen und sich vom Landesinneren auf die Westseite der Insel Terceira wagen! Hier besichtigen wir es von innen, machen eine Käseverkostung und radeln durch den Wald und am Meer entlang.

Wir steigen auf den Wegen durch die Pfarreien hinauf und erreichen dabei gemächlich eine Höhe von 300 Metern.
Wir folgten den lokalen Pfaden durch grüne Weiden und vorbei an Kühen und genossen die einzigartigen Landschaften, die die Natur bietet!
Herrliche Ausblicke entlang der Westküste der Insel Terceira und ein fantastischer Abstieg ins Zentrum des Dorfes.
Wir steigen hinab zum Meeresspiegel und besichtigen die natürlichen Becken von Cinco Ribeiras – eine einmalige Gelegenheit, den westlichen Teil der Insel aus nächster Nähe zu fotografieren. Mit etwas Glück können wir vielleicht die Insel São Jorge entdecken!
Besuch der ersten Käserei auf der Insel Terceira, hier wird eine Käseverkostung durchgeführt und die Möglichkeit geboten, regionale Produkte zu kaufen.
Ein Fischerdorf voller Kultur und Tradition! Ein kurzer Zwischenstopp für Fotos und um ein wenig über diese wunderbaren Menschen zu erfahren!

This e-bike tour was absolutely the highlight of our visit to Terceira! James was knowledgeable, personable and easy to understand. We feel like we came away from the experience with a true appreciation for the culture of the area, instead of a tourist experience.
WOW! Amazing tour of the East side of the island. What an experience to feel the wind on your face as you coast through the countryside! We were able to admire the beauty of Terceira in a completely new way...getting up close with cows, stopping to enjoy the views whenever we desired and tasting cheese from a local farmer. Andre was THE BEST guide! He ensured our safety, helped us maximize the eBike usage, shared his historical knowledge and was a ton of fun. Thank you Andre fir an incredible day!
James guided us on a great tour! The tour was rated “medium/hard”. I found it to be solidly medium while my sister found it to be solidly hard. There are hills but the bikes have turbo mode to help with that. James provided just the right amount of detail. He is knowledable and has a great sense of humor. The weather on our scheduled day was too wet for biking. The company was easy to work with for rescheduling it.

James was an excellent guide and we loved our tour of the west side of Terceira island. We were new to e-bikes but James gave us a quick tutorial, gave us a little practice time, and we were ready for adventure. I highly recommend James and Azores Nature Tours e-bike tour!

This is a fantastic tour which covers some of the west side of Terceira. Beautiful views from the quiet country roads and pathways. Although there is some cycling on busier roads at the start and end of the tour it wasn’t a problem for us. We loved coming down the hills. Stopping to taste some cheese was a nice touch. It was just my husband and I on the tour so we had the guide Andre to ourselves. He is a great guide, friendly, sociable, professional and he checked frequently that we were ok. Andre is very knowledgeable and we learnt some interesting facts about Terceira and the Azores in general. He was a pleasure to chat to. The e-bikes were good quality, well maintained, easy to ride and perfect for the terrain, in fact best e-bikes we have had on a cycle tour. We had a really brilliant time and cannot recommend highly enough. If we go back to Terceira we would do this tour again.

That tour was amazing - the perfect weather certainly helped too! The bikes were top notch and James was a knowledgeable and fun guide. The scenery is just incredible - we couldn’t get enough of the lush greenery, serratas (stone walls), water views and of course those wonderful cows! We will certainly do it again the next time we’re here. The cheese tasting was also a great touch - what a wonderful place that is.

Really good way to see the island. These bikes make it very easy to climb hills - you can work as hard or as little as you like. Our guide Andre was very knowledgeable and attentive. For us it’s a mother daughter trip with the mother being 72:-) loved it.

Terceira was our 4th island to visit. Each island was unique and beautiful. Terceira did not disappoint us, as it might have been our favorite after this tour. We started in Angra and ended there. Our guide Andre was very knowledgeable and professional. The countryside he guided us through was shocking beautiful. At no time did we worry about our safety and their equipment was top notch. I highly recommend this tour group to anyone.

We had a wonderful time exploring the west of Terceira with James as our guide.The bikes were in great condition and simple to use - they made the hilly parts no trouble at all. The trip took 3 hours and the bikes were very comfortable. Most of the ride was on quiet country roads with only a short time at the beginning and end on roads in the town. This is a great way to see the island and would definately recommend.
