Nichts sagt Weihnachten so aus wie Dyker Heights, das berühmteste Lichtspiel der Welt. Einheimische schmücken ihre Häuser – persönlich und professionell – seit den 80er Jahren und machen es zu einem wahren New Yorker Winterwunderland. DIE TOUR FINDET bei Regen oder Sonnenschein statt! Die Fahrt von Midtown nach Dyker Heights in Brooklyn dauert etwa eine Stunde an Bord unseres komfortablen Reisebusses, der voll beheizt ist und eine Toilette an Bord hat. Ihr Fortgeschrittener begleitet Sie zum Haus von Lucy Spata, dem Haus, das diese Tradition begründet hat, und führt Sie durch die beleuchtetesten Straßen, bevor er Sie zurück zum Bus bringt. Sie werden etwa eine Stunde in Dyker Heights verbringen, um herumzuschlendern und Fotos zu machen. Die nächste Station befindet sich am Fuße der Brooklyn Bridge im Stadtteil DUMBO/Brooklyn Heights in Brooklyn. Sie haben etwa 25 Minuten Zeit, um die atemberaubende Skyline von Manhattan und die Brücke zu fotografieren. Dann kehren Sie über die Manhattan Bridge nach Manhattan zurück. Die Tour endet im Bryant Park Winter Village.

Dies ist der Hauptstopp unserer Tour. (Hinweis: Busse sind in Dyker Heights wegen der engen Gassen nicht erlaubt). Ihr Guide begleitet Sie zu den beiden am besten beleuchteten Straßen und orientiert Sie. Sie haben dann eine Stunde Zeit, um selbst zu erkunden und Fotos zu machen.
Halten Sie an, um die spektakuläre Aussicht auf die Brooklyn Bridge und die atemberaubende beleuchtete Skyline von Manhattan zu genießen! (Hinweis: Die Dauer kann je nach Verkehr zwischen 20 und 30 Minuten betragen.)
Hier endet unsere Tour. Bryant Parks Winter Village ist ein Markt mit über 150 Ständen, an dem saisonale Speisen, Getränke und Geschenke sowie eine große Eisbahn mit Schlittschuhverleih angeboten werden. Sie können den Blick auf den bunten Bryant Park-Weihnachtsbaum genießen und eine der besten heißen Schokolade der Stadt kaufen. Das Rockefeller Center und sein Baum sind nur wenige Gehminuten von hier entfernt.

The tour tour guide and bus driver did not even know the proper route and ended up making us take an extra hour getting back. There were way too many people, and they couldn't even keep us all together. We were told to be back at a certain time if we got separated, and we ended up waiting a half hour for the rest of the tour group to get back. This was probably the worst Villa tour I've ever done.
There aren't many words to say. Open your eyes and enjoy the spectacle of Natale.sensaziinale really deserves to be visited.

This was a very cool and touristy experience on our recent trip to NYC. It was just SO crowded, which was expected since it was so close to the holidays. Be patient and enjoy the atmosphere! The additional stops on the tour were also cool.
I would rate this a 4-5 star for the sights bc they are definitely beautiful. However, I would give it a 3 as far as convenience & comfort. Be ready to walk a lot outside. If you aren't semi-in shape or have mobility issues this is not for you. Bundle up...it was cold and your outside at least 1 hour. Also, be sure to bring your own water or beverages. When you get to Dyker Heights, there are local vendors selling drinks/food but the tour guide advised not to purchase. Be sure to use the bathroom before bc there are NONE and you walk a good hour and are on the bus about 45 mins before and after (the description for this said restroom on bus but there was not). The Christmas lights were beautiful but were SO many people, it was hard to get really good photographs. Lots of shoving and pushing. Im glad I got to see it but wouldn't do again.
Our tour guide was fun and knowledgeable and made our tour very fun and engaging this trip will be a tradition for us when we visit NY again for the holiday season
This was such a wonderful experience. Our guide, Alvin was very knowledgeable about the history of the Christmas decorations at Dyker Heights. He was very patient and made sure we had the best experience. I’d recommend this to anyone in NYC during Christmas time.
Not worth it. We walked a few blocks and there were only like 3 houses to look at. I would not do it again.
Nice experience .. took the hassle out of driving to Brooklyn from Midtown. Plenty of time to walk around. Nice stop at the base of the Brooklyn Bridge.
A Jaw dropping display of lights. There were Great photo ops of the NYC skyline with a little Manhattan History Lesson thrown in.
