Ohne Aufpreis. Aufgrund seiner geopolitischen und strategischen Lage hat Ston eine reiche Geschichte seit der Antike. Vor den Toren der Halbinsel gelegen, umgeben von drei Meeren, geschützt von vier Hügeln, reich an Süß- und Salzwasser, fruchtbaren Ebenen, war es ein wichtiges politisches, kulturelles und kirchliches Zentrum. Die Festung Ston war mit einer ursprünglichen Länge von 7000 m, bestehend aus den Mauern von Ston und Little Ston, eines der größten Bauprojekte der Zeit. Die Große Mauer besteht aus drei Festungen, und die Mauern und Festungen werden von 10 Runden mit 31 Quadraten und 6 halbrunden Bastionen flankiert. Das komplexe Verteidigungskorps wurde im Laufe von vier Jahrhunderten durch die Entwicklung von Waffen gebildet. Die Mauern waren von großer Bedeutung, weil sie die Salzwerke verteidigten, die der Republik Dubrovnik, der Muschelfarm und der Stadt selbst jährlich 15.900 Dukaten gaben.

Great experience that made the drive very enjoyable. The driver was on time, accommodating. Lunch was exceptional with a great atmosphere and views. We were so happy with the transport that we asked them to provide transfer from Split to Zagreb and also did not disappoint ! 5 stars all the way !

We booked this expecting a transfer from Dubrovnik to Split. Instead, it became one of the most memorable days of our entire trip. Our driver zlatko went far beyond transportation. He customized the day to our interests, introduced us to local experiences we never would have found on our own, and shared so much knowledge with us. The highlight was an extraordinary sea/farm-to-table lunch hosted by the owner himself. The meal featured exceptionally fresh local ingredients, including mussels/fish that had been caught that very day, wine and incredible raki pear, orange, lemon. Every course reflected the region, and the hospitality was as memorable as the food. We travel frequently and stay in luxury hotels around the world, yet this was one of the freshest and most authentic meals we have ever had. i did not expect this day to be a highlight of our Croatia itinerary. What was supposed to be a transfer became an introduction to Croatian culture, food, history, and hospitality.

A perfect escape from Old Town Dubrovnik and crowded places into this small village, embraced with it's wild nature so stunning and private. We captured this enviroment fullfiled with olive trees that owners use to provide them own olive oil, which is I must say- amazing. Landscape that points you directly to the sea and from there they serve you amazing fish and mussels. We want to thank owner Ado for guiding us through this whole EXPERIENCE! Explaining to us his roots and more about this amazing place, but especially for the food specials such as fresh mussels, fish soup, fish directly from the sea, dessert dressed with homemade syrup from garden by owner's wife Antea. Both of them are such a professionals and so kind. Thank You for this amazing experience, lovely food and so comfortable transfer ride. We share some pictures from this breathtaking landscape❤❤

This adventure was at least 11 hours. We were collected at 10am and got back to our hotel around 21:00. The day was lovely. A treat getting out of the crazy Dubrovnik environment. The countryside is gorgeous. Ston was lovely. The lunch was amazing too. Skip breakfast and enjoy! The drive to Split was abit far in my opinion and not much to do when we got there besides roam around. Nonetheless a worthwhile experience while on Dubrovnik. Our guide/host/driver was slightly limited with his English and so it abit difficult to communicate however he was incredibly sweet.
First of all, thank you for booking with us, and we are very happy to hear that you enjoyed the countryside, Ston, and the lunch experience❤️. ▶️However, we would like to clarify something important. You originally booked a transfer, not a tour. The booking title clearly says “transfer,” which normally means a one-way trip only. The itinerary clearly states, Pick up: Dubrovnik / Drop off: Split. Despite that, we really went out of our way to accommodate your wishes and organized a full-day experience for you, including the return back to your hotel, without charging anything extra. ➡️To be honest, this required a lot of additional effort from our team, and we did it because we wanted you to have a special day and enjoy your time outside Dubrovnik. In hindsight, maybe we should have cancelled the transfer in the morning when the arrangement changed, because in the end you received much more than what was originally booked — essentially transport in both directions and a full-day experience for the price of a one-way transfer. Our team truly tried to meet all of your wishes during the day, especially after you mentioned that you were very happy with the experience. Still, we appreciate your visit and your kind comments about experince. Your day was a long day, as you wished. This is absolutely amazing! If you are a foodie, do not miss this. Our driver was very sweet and took us to a few sights as we left Dubrovnik. But the lunch was the absolute highlight! An out of the way spot where we ate like queens and kings. Everything was from within 2000 meters of the farm. The truest farm to table experience. And the mussels were absolute sublime.

We were so impressed with our Dubrovnik to Split transfer experience! And so pleased to have been working with a local company. Sanja was our driver and she was very kind and extremely punctual. The highlight of the trip was the amazing, authentic seafood lunch prepared for us. I am not a huge seafood eater and throughly enjoyed it. You dine on an absolutely beautiful patio that overlooks the sea. I will say, the transfer is advertised as lasting 4-5 hours and it took us closer to 7. So it is a long day. We left Dubrovnik a little before 10:00 and got to Split around 17:00. Not a problem for us but I wouldn’t recommend making too many plans in Split upon arrival. There is a short stop in Ston for about an hour. Not much to do there besides stretch your legs and go in a few shops. Thank you for the great service!

Shout out to Sanja, our driver. She went above and beyond to fulfill our last-minute request and is absolutely hilarious. Our lunch at Hacienda Dubrovnik was delectable. Chef Ado and his team really impressed us. Loved the scenery, so serene and peaceful. THANK YOU ALL! Definitely one of the highlights of our trip. What began as a simple transfer from Dubrovnik to Split became one of the most memorable days of our holiday! This scenic drive is the ultimate way to travel, combining luxury transit with a delicious local seafood lunch in a stunning, rustic coastal setting. The "Sea to Table" lunch was the standout. My group enjoyed oysters pulled straight from the sea and fish of the freshest possible quality. The setting—amidst 100-year-old olive trees —was incredibly relaxing and authentic. Beyond the scenery, the hospitality was wonderful. The Atlas Adriatic team were helpful, pleasant, and professional from the initial enquiry through to the final drop-off.
