Reiseverlauf

Incredible! the museum was amazing - I have never seen so many dinosaur fossils in one museum. The Horshoe Canyon was very interesting. Our guide, Belize, was fantastic - very knowledgeable and helpful and friendly. A great day! We highly recommend this adventure, especially with Belize.
A long day with not too many points of interest. Rough ride in the bus we were in. No water for the customers. I would not recommend
Thank you for your review. This tour has always included rich historical explanations because it is a storytelling journey. Our guide worked hard to bring the stories to life and make the experience feel like stepping back in time. However, it seems you may not have been particularly interested in the historical narratives, which we regret. Regarding your comment about not providing water, we aim to be as environmentally friendly as possible, which is why we don't offer bottled water. We encourage guests to bring their own water bottles, as we do. If you need bottled water, it is available for purchase during meals or at museum gift shops. If you're unsure where to buy it, feel free to ask the guide for assistance. However, we still recommend bringing a reusable bottle on any tour to avoid creating unnecessary waste. Thank you again for your feedback.
Very pleasant day in a small group (4 including the driver). Good way to visit the Badlands when you don't have a car!
First of all the bus driver was really nice and the schedule was respected. But I feel I made a mistake by booking this tour. I really wanted to hike in the hoodoos and enjoy the Royal Tyrell museum, but the tour concentrate on diverse other touristy attractions (like the tiny church, the giant dinosaur or a view from a parking lot on the horseshoe canyon) I think those can be viewed in few minutes and are not really interesting. Actually, you would spend less money if you rented a car and went by yourself, plus you will be free to do all the interesting activities the Royal Tyrell museum offers, and to my opinion , the hoodoos diserves at least 1 and a half hour to enjoy and hike a little. Plus, the tour just provides you an automatic Siri like guide in the bus, as the driver IS not really a guide and does not speak a really good english. The computer voice linked to the GPS during the ride is actually kind of anecdotic and annoying to be honest. During summer there are shuttles that will take you from Calgary to drumheller and the Royal Tyrell museum, it could be an entire day of interesting activities for a modest cost.

Good trip, a decent day. David is a good guide with deep knowledge. There are a few stops throughout the day all of some intrigue
One day is a wee tad hard on my body but a tour is the best tay to see the sights for sure. Went you’re from out of town and you don’t know what attractions to see? go on Bubba’s tour
This experience was simply amazing! I would have liked to spend more time in the Hoodoos to be able to finish up to the top (I was about 20 meters short) and the museum, but it was great!!
Super awesome day trip outside of Calgary! The tour guide was professional, really knew what he was doing, and provided us with many interesting facts as we drove to our destinations. The natural landscapes were absolutely incredible, particularly the stop at Horseshoe Canyon which was great for taking pictures. The stop at the Hoodoos was my favorite part which was where we got to do some climbing. It's important to bring shoes with good grip if you want to go off the trail and do some freestyle climbing. The 2.5 hours allocated at the Royal Tyrell Museum was perfect; just enough time to see everything and check out the gift shop. Overall, if you've never seen badlands before and like dinosaurs, I definitely recommend this trip!
I wish I was a palaeontologist. To be able to have discovered Dinosaurs and artefacts from millions of years ago must be amazing. The museum and canyon was superb.
Dear valued customer Thank you for your appreciation of paleontology and your positive feedback about the museum and canyon. We agree that the world of dinosaurs and ancient artifacts is amazing. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed your visit to the museum and canyon. They offer a superb experience, showcasing the wonders of prehistoric life and our planet's rich history. Best regards, Calgary Tours
Horseshoe Canyon and Hoodoos really interesting; Royal Tyrell Museum a must for dino enthusiasts and for the young and old!!
