Donauknie-Tour mit dem Van

Beschreibung

Fahrzeit: 40-50 min.

Voltan was amazing! Lots of info though not overwhelming and geared just for the two of us. We've traveled a lot and he is at the top of tor list of guides. He covered everything that was promised and even though the weather was cold he never hurried us or skipped anything. He even added a surprise visit to a tiny museum in Svendtre. One of our favorite parts. He went above and beyond by helping us decide what other tours we should take in the area and helping us with our 3am trip to the airport.
Our tour was headed by Zoltan Horvath -our wonderful driver and guide! We were picked up at our hotel in a very comfortable minivan. Zoltan was very personable and knowledgeable about Hungarian culture and history and took his time to stop & discuss places of interest on our way to our 3 towns such as the Roman ruins. We never felt rushed to get through or get to another place. He was also a careful and unhurried driver. In addition to guiding us through the main sites at Esztergom and Visegrad he had great recommendations on what else to see in each place pointing out unique displays especially in Szentandres. He even indulged us and we crossed over into Slovakia! Just a great day and a great way to see the Danube and a bit of the Hungarian countryside.
We were so fortunate to have a wonderful Danube Bend tour by Zoltan Horvath. Our group of four were picked up at our Budapest Hotel by Zoltan, and he provided a fantastic day of touring. His van was large and clean. He is very knowledgeable about Hungary and the local history. I would give Zoltan 10 stars if possible. He was fantastic.
Excellent tour from start to finish. My wife, teenage children, and I truly enjoyed the tour and the company. It was illuminating and recommended for anyone wishing to discover the culture and history behind the city.
Zoltan is an amazing tour professional! The tour we took with him was the highlight of our trip. Not only knowledgable but also really went the extra mile to understand what we were interested in and recommended local attractions and hidden gems that made our tour one of a kind.
We had a wonderful Danube Bend tour with Zoltan on July 22nd, and so excited about it that we're posting on the same day. In my book, Zoltan is the best guide in Budapest, if not all of Hungary! We decided to do a Danube Bend tour at the last minute, as part of our two-week trip through Prague, Cesky Krumlov, Vienna, and Hungary. The day spent with Zoltan was by far the best day of our entire trip. Everything was wonderful and beyond words. The tour and having his company was a joy throughout. If you're on the fence about booking a tour for the Danube Bend or Budapest with Zoltan, do yourself a favor and just do it. It will be well worth the cost. Posting three pictures of each of the main stops of our tour: Esztergom Basilica, Visegradi Fortress, and Szentendre city walk. Visegradi was our favorite and completely underrated by Rick Steves's book.
We had a great experience touring Esztergom, Szentendre, and Visegrad with Zoltan. He picked us up promptly in his comfortable, very clean, and well-air-conditioned van, which was a relief on a hot summer day. My husband and I prefer to explore at our own pace, Zoltan accommodated us nicely. He was extremely knowledgeable. He provided clear and informative explanations of the history of all the sights. We felt well taken care of with Zoltan as our guide. We highly recommend him for the Danube River Bend tour. He's all around a very nice person.
If you are planning a trip to Hungary, Zoltan is without a doubt your guide!!!! He was so knowledgeable, very accommodating, a wealth of information and truly made our visit incredible. It was liking having a local friend take you around to share all that his country had to offer. We did the magnificent Danube bend one day, and a complete city tour the other. He got us everywhere we wanted to see and even back tracked to where we wanted to see more of!
Zoltan gave us a spectacular tour of the areas around Budapest, including the Danube bend! He was fun and knowledgeable, answering all our questions about the country and the sites we visited. It was clear he had been a successful tour guide of the area for years and had perfected his tour during that time. He allowed us to make the tour what we wanted by gearing it to the areas we said we wanted to see. Yet, at the same time, he gave us fantastic suggestions about what to visit and how to spend our time. The tour was one of the highlights of our whole trip as a result, and we are so grateful to Zoltan for his expertise and insight. We will definitely be seeking another tour from Zoltan on our next trip to Budapest.
