We really liked the tour. Joseph was a super guide and led us through the cocoa plantation. There were fresh fruits available every now and then. At the end, we drank coffee and cocoa. Definitely recommended!
Our family really enjoyed this tour. We got so many fresh samples of mango, papaya, banana, sugar cane, and various stages of chocolate and coffee. What a great learning experience from a family buisness. So happy to support and keep this tradition going. Highly recommend. Great learning experience for kids.
Superb tour with our guide Dan, who is super dynamic, funny, and knowledgeable on different subjects. We were treated to a tasting of fresh fruit throughout the tour (banana con chocolate, mamón, papaya, pineapple, starfruit, sugarcane, and rum), then the tour ended with a tasting of chocolate/hot chocolate/coffee. Small shop with the possibility of buying coffee/cacao/chocolate + other souvenirs.
Dan and Joseph have been amazing! They were so sweet and informative. We tired all types of fruit and coffee and hot chocolate!
The experience was great, we took a tour through cacao farm and saw alot of other fruits and also got to try these fruits during the tour!
Amazing tour filled with lots of eating and knowledge. Brian is amazing, so funny and informative. The tour takes you round the farm, showing every process with constant fruit being served! Also get coffee, hot chocolate and rum at the end! Highly recommend!
What a great experience! Shout out to Brian who was funny, informative and included everyone in the experience. My daughter and I joined over an hour late due to an unexpected trip to urgent care, but Brian made sure we had as close to the full experience as possible. He skipped his 10min coffee break between tours and gave us a mini tour complete with the tastings we missed! He insisted saying “you came all the way from USA for this and we will do a speed round tour”. What a special opportunity to learn from this family farm.
Such a fun and DELICIOUS activity!!! It was raining the entire time of our tour which added to the experience!! Super fun!
This is an awesome tour that is not to be missed. We were a family with kids in their elementary school years and our tour guide Dan was so energetic with the kids and teaching everyone about chocolate, coffee, animals, and the rainforest area. I would definitely recommend this tour to any of my friends and family. We were given snacks almost every 5-10 minutes: fresh fruit, coffee, chocolate. Saw a sloth too!
Very interesting and funny guide. Unfortunately, explanations only in English. (but we knew that). We thought we would taste more things, as more were announced at the start. (no spices, rambutan, coconut).
