Begleiten Sie uns, während wir die wunderschönen Wasserstraßen von Cocoa Beach entlang paddeln und die erstaunliche Natur, Schönheit und Tierwelt, die Florida zu bieten hat, hautnah und persönlich erleben, darunter Delfine, Seekühe, Meeresschildkröten, lebende Muscheln, Pelikane, Mangroven, rosa Löffler und vieles mehr. Wir machen einen Zwischenstopp auf einer der wunderschönen Inseln, während wir uns mit der interessanten Geschichte der Stadt befassen. Es gibt nur wenige Orte auf der Welt, an denen man westindische Seekühe sehen kann, und das Banana River Manatee Refuge ist einer davon. Wir sehen in dieser Gegend oft große Gruppen von Seekühen und Delfinen, was sie zu einem der besten Orte zum Paddeln oder Kajakfahren in ganz Florida macht!
Das Thousand Islands Conservation Area ist ein 338 Hektar großes Gebiet am Banana River neben dem Cocoa Beach und besteht aus einer Reihe von Inseln in der Indian River Lagoon. Das Naturschutzgebiet besteht aus über 1000 kleinen Inseln, von denen die meisten nur mit dem Boot oder Kajak erreichbar sind. Das Gebiet beherbergt eine große Vielfalt an Wildtieren, darunter Störche, Delfine, Seekühe, Rosalöffler sowie seltene und vom Aussterben bedrohte tropische Pflanzen. Wir werden für etwa 30 Minuten an diesem Bereich vorbeigehen.

Mike is an awesome guide. The amount of knowledge he held with the wildlife and how personable he was made the tour so much more fun. The amount of stops were perfect we took our time on everything. I had no idea manatees’ closest relatives were elephants. The morning tour was a solid choice, weather was perfect. Overall enjoyed the time and was very well worth it.

Went out with Noah and had a great time! Very knowledgeable about the area with lots of great fun facts. Made learning to paddle board very easy and was able to get the hang of it by the end of the tour. Would recommend to anybody looking to go out and see some dolphins and manatees!!
