We had a great time on the pearl excursion in Bora Bora. The guides were awesome - fun, kind, prompt and very knowledgeable. We ended up with two nice pearls from "our own" oysters that my wife is looking forward to having set in a necklace. Plus, the views of Bora Bora were fantastic. We highly recommend this excursion.

This experience was amazing! Tahi was very knowledgeable and made learning about how pearls are harvested fun. We swam out and picked our own oyster then came back to shore to open them up. We got to keep the pearl that was inside the oyster we chose. If your oyster didn’t have a pearl they had extras so everyone still got to go home with one!

We had so much fun! It was such a unique experience and such a fun souvenir from the trip. Staff was so amazing. So friendly and caring. Took time to get to know each of us.

We had an incredible time with Sandro and Manu — this is truly a must-do activity and our favorite memory from our trip! Both of them are wonderfully hilarious, warm, charismatic, and knowledgeable. Sandro took the time to learn everyone’s names, and gave an excellent mini lecture about the extensive process needed to culture pearls. He was also very attentive to my curiosity questions. We then went out on a boat to snorkel for the pearls. FYI: As an unknown thief had stolen their entire oyster collection last year, they had to change their harvesting process so they have one row of available oysters. (To that thief: shame on you!!) The incredible side bonus to this part was our group got to see an entire group of manta rays while diving for the pearls! There were at least 15-20 of them. It was clearly also thrilling for the guides, and we all spent a while quietly following them. We harvested our own oysters, but they also kindly harvested a bucket for folks who preferred not to get in the ocean. The best part was the opening process. Sandro really punked me and made me think my oyster was dead, or at the least, had no pearl. He is really a showman and keeps you in suspense. Turns out I had an astounding round pearl with a mix of gold, silver, and green tones. My husband also had a gorgeous teardrop shaped pearl. They recommended going to Arc en Ciel on the main island for necklaces. Both another lady and I bought manta ray necklaces there to commemorate the special occasion. That day, we also happily unexpectedly ran into Sandro in town! Don’t miss out on this! I’m happy to write my first TripAdvisor review for these lovely folks!

Two incredible hours. The taxi service is super efficient, Patrik is one of the most genuine and nice people that exist. Mannu and Mana accompanied us on this journey in search of our pearl from the beginning, kind, cordial, affectionate and fun. It was an unforgettable day ❤️ Manou you are in our hearts

Great tour! It was so much fun and a fantastic introduction to the pearl-making process. The guide explained everything clearly and it was fascinating to learn how pearls are cultivated from start to finish. I really enjoyed the experience and would recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning more about pearls. Thanks to Tahi, our tour guide, for making the experience so enjoyable.
