The instructors were very informative. Took us to a couple different places. Please note if you catch something you will have to take it back with you and cook it yourself. Cooking it is not part of this tour.

We had a wonderful experience for first time spear fishers. It’s not an easy sport! Aaron took a lot of care to make sure we had the idea down, and then was beside us in the water the whole time to assist. We stopped at two different places to find fish and came back with several that we brought back to eat.

Fun time! Good guides and very informational. Great way to start out. Water is choppy and would definitely know how to snorkel before going.

Gauthier was grate instructor and we had very good experience with him. I 100% recommend!

The whole week was incredible. We were able to cover all the theory very efficiently and spent a maximum amount of time in the water to practice all the skills right after. The dive sites were all great and the fish were very cooperative and we had the chance to see a huge manta ray flew by us. My instructor (Gauthier) was very professional, knowledgeable and responsive. everything was on point and handled in a way that would maximize our hunting time. I loved every second of it and am currently looking at trip windows to push myself further and get more advanced skills with him.

Wow!!!! It was incredible! Definitely not the "canned tourist experience " O was expecting. This was the real deal, our guide was super, he was patient with us, taught us everything we needed to know. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone looking for a great experience. It was an awesome experience. We did a brief class on safety and instructions in the morning before driving about 30 mins to the boat then another 20 minutes to the dive site before actually getting to fish. We fished for about 2-3 hours but a lot of the first hour was getting acclimated to diving and how to shoot. Every time you would shoot the guide would have to reload the spear gun which could take 20 mins if other people needed help. One thing I wish was different was being able to load the gun myself to save me more time to get more attempts. Letting us practice loading the gun on the boat or in the safety brief would have mitigated the issue in the water. Would still highly recommend this tour but would also recommend knowing how to free dive a little before

This spear fishing trip was much different than I had expected. We started the spearfishing trip in the classroom. I found the instruction very helpful. After the classroom we got on the boat and went out near an island to fish. After getting into the water we were left to fend for ourselves. The instructor gave no further instruction in the water in regard to how to find fish or where to go. My friend was not comfortable in the water and the instructor did not help comfort or help at all. She had to get out and sit in the boat for the whole trip. The waves and current were significant so I would not recommend to anyone who is not pretty comfortable in the water. The instructor left us completely and was not visible to me or the rest of the group the a majority of the time. He was just doing a personal fishing trip for himself. I did not feel overly safe and felt as if you had trouble swimming or with your gear the instructor was not there to help. The boat driver was great and I felt like had to make up the for the lack of instructor. Would only recommend this trip if you are pretty comfortable in the water and free diving and do not want the help of an instructor in the water. December 2025

Had a blast and they take you right to the fish, definitely worth the money. The boat captain was great and the spear fishing instructor was super knowledgeable and a cool guy.

Gauthier and Aaron are awesome to work with. Trustworthy, knowledgeable, dependable and professional. Will definitely be back and recommending to friends and family!
