Der Archäologische Park von Dion ist die wichtigste archäologische Stätte am Olymp in Griechenland und befindet sich in Dion (Griechisch: Δίον). In dem Gebiet des Archäologischen Parks von Dion wurden Heiligtümer aus hellenistischer und römischer Zeit gefunden. Der Park zeigt die Bedeutung des alten Dion in der Geschichte von Pieria.
Das Kloster von Agios Dionysios im Olymp ist ein griechisch-orthodoxes Kloster an den Hängen des Olymp, dem wichtigsten Kloster in der Präfektur Pieria. Es befindet sich in der Enipeas-Schlucht auf einer Höhe von 850 m. Das ursprüngliche Kloster, das 1542 gegründet wurde, wurde 1943 von den Deutschen zerstört. In der Nähe befindet sich die Höhle des Heiligen Dionysius.
Enipeas, der Fluss, der die Flanken des Olymp überquert und dieses heilige Wasser und die fabelhafte Wechselwirkung von Pools und Wasserfällen bis nach Litochoro bietet!
Am Fuße des Olymp liegt ein authentisches mazedonisches Dorf namens Litochoro, das aus dem 14. Jahrhundert stammt. Es ist ein wunderschöner und malerischer Ort, um unser Mittagessen mit lokaler griechischer Küche zu genießen.

Wenn das Hotel aufgrund von Einschränkungen nicht mit dem Auto erreichbar ist, wird die Abholung von einem nahe gelegenen Standort, der nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt ist, durchgeführt. Kreuzfahrtschiffreisende: Treffpunkt ist der Ausgang des Kreuzfahrthafenterminals. Ihr Fahrer wird eine Namenstafel mit dem Namen der Reisenden halten.

We were very excited to take this tour, but unfortunately it was canceled by the tour operator less than 48 hours before the scheduled departure. The initial reason provided was “low availability,” though we later learned that the driver had been involved in a car accident and no replacement was available. While we understand that unexpected situations can arise, the last-minute cancellation was disappointing, especially since tour options in Thessaloniki were limited and it left us without time to make alternative plans. We were looking forward to this experience and were sorry to miss it.
