Reiseverlauf

It was a very comprehensive and well run tour; the guide was knowledgeable and took us on a logical route with good recommendations passed on along the way. It covers a lot of ground at a reasonable pace.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. It was a pleasure guiding your family through the city, and I’m glad you enjoyed the tour and recommendations along the way. I hope you had a wonderful stay in Lucerne and that the city left you with great memories.
Benjamin is a true gem of a guide in Lucerne. He is enthusiastic, personable, knowledgeable, and eager to answer questions. It felt like a friend showing us his favorite city. I would highly recommend him to anyone. We learned so much in a short period of time and got a real feeling for the spirit of this beautiful place.
Thank you so much for your kind review, Molly. It was a real pleasure showing you around Lucerne. I am very glad it felt like discovering the city with a friend. I also hope you enjoyed the fondue and that it tasted as good as it should in Switzerland. All the best and maybe see you again one day in Lucerne.
Jeremy was a great guide. I happened to be the only one signed up for this day. It was great getting to know some of the history of the city plus getting to know my way around it so I could continue on my own once the tour was done.
Glad to hear you had a great time on the tour and thank you so much for the lovely review. It truly means a lot! I do have to smile a little though… your guide’s name was actually Benjamin, but Jeremy sounds like a cool guy too :) Happy you enjoyed the experience either way.
My husband and I had a wonderful time in Lucerne with Benjamin as our tour guide. He showed us a lot of this beautiful city and because of that, we’d love to go back there.
Hey Sandra Thank you very much for your lovely review. I am delighted that you and your husband enjoyed your time in Lucerne and the tour. It was a pleasure showing you around our beautiful city. Every season has its own charm :) I hope to welcome you back again someday. Warm regards Benjamin
Benjamin did a nice job covering all of the highlights throughout Lucerne and was very knowledgeable in its history. Highly recommended tour!
Thank you so much for the great review! I'm really glad to hear you enjoyed the tour and found the historical insights interesting. It was a pleasure showing you around Lucerne. All the best — and maybe see you again someday in Switzerland!
I was unsure at first because there weren’t many reviews, but I’m glad I joined! The tour was well organized and very interesting. It’s a great way to explore Lucerne and learn about its history. Walking through the city with a knowledgeable guide gave a whole new perspective – much better than just wandering around alone. I definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Lucerne.
Thank you so much for your kind words! We're really happy you joined and enjoyed the tour. It's great to hear that it gave you a new perspective on Lucerne. Safe travels and we hope to see you again someday! Best wishes Benjamin
I normally don’t write Tripadvisor reviews (who has the time?), but this tour deserves it. At first, I was a bit skeptical since the tour is quite new, but our guide Benjamin made it an incredibly pleasant and engaging experience. I’ve been to Lucerne several times and thought I knew the city well, but I was surprised by how much I learned through the historical context he provided. A great mix of storytelling, history, and local insight. Highly recommended to anyone wanting to discover a deeper side of Lucerne!
Salut Joel, Thank you so much for the kind review! I’m really glad you enjoyed the tour and discovered some new sides of Lucerne. It was a pleasure having you on the tour, and I appreciate you taking the time (despite not usually writing reviews 😉). All the best, Benjamin
I really wanted this tour to be worth the money we paid, but the tour guide knew very little about the area—even without his binder, which he didn’t have with him. Granted, I booked the tour several hours in advance, he must not have checked his email or text and it wasn’t until I called him that he knew we were waiting for him at the meeting point. As luck would have it, he was actually very near by so it started only 10 min later than scheduled. Not worth the money we paid, but since the charge was transacted at the time of the booking we gave it a go.
Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the tour did not fully meet your expectations. Due to a technical issue, your booking was unfortunately not displayed correctly, which led to a short delay. Once contact was established, the tour was able to begin at 3:04 PM – just four minutes later than planned. We would also like to clarify that our guide is a trained expert in architecture and urban planning and has lived in Lucerne his entire life. He brings deep knowledge of the city’s history and culture to each tour and is always happy to answer questions from guests. We regret that the circumstances at the start may have impacted your overall impression, and we thank you again for your input. Best regards
