Reiseverlauf

Starve yourself! Go hungry! The foods you will learn about and try are plentiful and delicious! Save room too for yummy fruit drinks and tastes of beautiful locally grown tropical fruit, like mangoes, mangosteen, and bananas. Our guide, Jess, was wonderful, very helpful and a joy to be with as he taught us about popular Cebu foods and skillfully walked us throught the vast market. Lot’s of fun!
My wife and I did the Half Day Cebu Food Tour with Blu Range Cebu Tours and could not have been happier. Our tour guide Caryl was amazing. There were very good communications setting up the tour and detailed instructions the day before with regards to exact time and meeting place. We started at Puso Village, which in itself is an amazing place, and sampled several dishes. We then walked the Carbon Market, sampling several more local dishes, finally ending back at Puso Village for dessert. Caryl was so informative as to the foods and also the culture of the area. She was even so kind as to walk us back to a part of the Carbon Market so my wife could buy a shirt. Our favorite part was the Tuslob Buwa. This was definitely something we would not have tried without Caryl and it turned out to be one of our favorites. Thanks Again for the great time and wonderful tour.
Try the brain. It’s good. Our guide, Berna, was great. Be adventurous. Some things on this tour you can only get while you’re here.
Expecting a 3 hour walking tour discovering local area and culture while tasting local dishes what we got was Met at a commercial eating place and ate 2 local dishes ( both very nice no issues ) in first 30 minutes, had an ice cream then a walk through vegetable market, tasted 1 item from street vendor … proceeded to thrift area no history given from guide . Ended up back up commercial shop end of tour … lasted 1 hour 20 minutes. Guide left us as if in rush . Didn’t realise until she’d gone we hadn’t been to colon street as described. Cheaper to do yourself guide wasn’t needed for what we did
Great experience sampling a variety of the unique favorites from Lechon roasted pig to ice cream with fruit.
Very exciting experience. Staff was excellent very attentive. A once in a lifetime experience that you must try. My guy was very informative for his historical and cultural information.
Booked food tour with Blu Range Tours, because we have one extra day before flight home. It is very good! I try many Filipino dishes, all so delicious. Our tour guide, Cyrus, he explain everything very good. We have very nice time and for sure we book again next time.
I booked this food tour in Cebu expecting an authentic experience, but it was very disappointing. The company did not provide the meeting point until I chased them just a few hours before the tour, and the actual activity was completely different from what was advertised. Instead of exploring local food culture, we sat in a food court while the guide brought about 10 USD worth of food to our table, yet the cost was 70 USD per person. The only positive part was the guide himself—he was kind and even took us to a nearby church afterward—but overall this was not a real food tour and I would not recommend it.
Dear Mr. Serkan: Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re truly sorry to hear that the tour didn’t meet your expectations, and we appreciate you letting us know where it fell short. We understand your disappointment and acknowledge that what you described isn’t the authentic walking food experience we aim to deliver. The Cebu Food Tour is designed to include several tasting stops and cultural highlights, so we’re currently investigating why this wasn’t the case during your tour and reviewing our coordination procedures with the guide team. Regarding the cost, we’d like to clarify that the price you paid was set and processed by the third-party booking platform, which retains a significant portion as their commission. The remaining amount covers guide services, food tastings, coordination, and operational logistics. Still, we recognize that value perception matters most to our guests, and your feedback will help us reassess how we communicate pricing and inclusions more clearly. We sincerely regret that your experience did not reflect the standard we strive for and will take your comments to improve both communication and consistency moving forward. Warmest regards, The Blu Range Team
Really interesting tour. Tje meeting place listed is not where you meet, its permanently closed, however, my guide Cyrus had a plan ready to go. Don't eat before you go, it isnt just bite tasting, its meals, lots of food. The Pungko Pungko experience was unique for me. The Halo Halo dessert was fantastic. Really fun time with my guide. Again, show up with an empty stomach, its worthwhile
Dear valued guest, Thank you for joining The Ultimate Cebu Food Tour and for sharing your feedback with us! We’re thrilled to hear that you had a fun and memorable time exploring Cebu’s flavors with Cyrus. He’s always ready with a plan, and we’re glad he was able to ensure a smooth experience despite the mix-up with the original meeting point — we sincerely appreciate your understanding on that. It’s great to know you enjoyed the full meals and not just small tastings — we definitely believe in giving our guests a truly satisfying culinary journey! From the unique Pungko Pungko to the refreshing Halo-Halo, we’re happy that each stop made an impression. Thank you again for the great tip to arrive hungry — we couldn’t have said it better ourselves! Warm regards, Love from the Blu Range Team
More sweet tastings than savory. Wear comfortable shoes. Cyrus and Shana (sp?) worked very hard to make sure we had a good experience.
