Die Toronto Beer and Cheese Tour

We took the Distillery District Beer & Cheese Tasting Tour. Our tour guide was Tom. He did a fantastic job of giving us the amazing history & told us many interesting, fun stories about the Distillery DistrIct. We went to 3 different distilleries & sampled many different types of beer & very tasty charcuterie board with a delicious raspberry spread. I enjoyed the jam so much I purchased a jar. The warm pretzels we were served with the samples of beer at one of the other distilleries were delicious. There was live music and everything was great! I wish we had remembered to take more pictures of the samples and the places we went to because I can only recall one of them. They should hand out info on the distilleries to take home so we can possibly purchase the products ourselves. We would recommend the tour. It was really fun!

We went on the beer and cheese tour, we were there a few mins early so as it was only us we began the tour early with Nicole. The tour started with some history about the district before moving to our first tasting at the mill street brewery. The bar tender was really lovely and gave us lots of samples to try tailored to our preferred beers as well as trying some others including a mango beer which was delicious 😋. We moved onto a beautiful venue, Spirit of York for lunch. It was less 'beer and cheese tour' but still lovely to visit. We ordered some extra spirits to sample which were tasty, the place had a modern bar area with the distillery behind. Our tour guide left us for a while to enjoy our lunch which included some cheese. Lastly we made our way to the final destination, our second brewery where we sampled another good range of beers. The tour was a lovely experience in a historically interesting place with a modern twist. Following the tour we provided some constructive feedback which the company acted on positively to improve their future beer and cheese tours.
