Nice idea but a bit too easy for adults and older kids. The answers were all linked and easy to guess. My 12 year old had them in seconds without barely looking at the prompts, just from reading the clues. Wish we'd paid a bit more and gone for something trickier. The interface was nice though but I'd say best for under 10's.
sometimes the map wouldn’t appear but just close and reopen it and it comes back, fun way to see york and learn its history
Really entertaining way to spend an hour or so in the city. We enjoyed finding quirky parts of the city and buildings and discovering interesting architecture.
It was fun and challenging, we saw a lot of the city that we wouldn’t have otherwise. I think that it would be helpful if the directions were a little more detailed.
Interesting little walking tour of York that showed us some very interesting things we would have otherwise missed. Easy, go at your own speed, interesting facts. Seeing some great places slightly off the beaten track.
Fun interactive activity. Answers were simple but we looked for the less obvious 😂 would definitely like to another one
Fun, different way to visit a city, follow the clues make the time.pass quickly, easy information, but made you think to solve the clues
Great fun but needs interactive voice ",D Enjoyed all the little bits of history and random figures on walls etc that you wouldn't normally notice walking around. Can do this anytime regardless of saying 12:00 for starting time as self-guided "]
Thank you for your review!
A great way to get around York and pay attention to the smaller details. Make note, one of the buildings needed to answer a question (2nd one) is currently covered in scaffolding and the clue is therefore covered. We had to guess this one. Thoroughly enjoyed it, but would be nice if the link to get started was hyperlinked, as we had to manually type the link in on one phone, then share the link with the other phone via WhatsApp. Don't worry about taking your time or a detour, you can pick up wherever you left off when you're ready.
Me and the wife really enjoyed this tour. The clues and riddles are great fun. Definitely worth giving ago. Family's with children will definitely enjoy this tour as it can be done in an hour or you can like us stop at a few of the local pubs for a refreshment break.
Thank you for so great review, we are really happy you liked our tour :)
