Deutscher Fußabdruck & Nazipräsenz

Beschreibung

Really really fantastic tour!! It was cold outside but we were so entertained and intrigued the entire time. We want to come back to take all of the other tours. Thank you so much!
I’ve visited 116 countries and 7 continents, and this was quite possibly the best tour I have ever taken. I actually visited Bariloche all the way from Dubai just to take this tour, and I couldn’t have been more satisfied. The guide was brilliant and hugely well-informed. He would make a phenomenal professor (I say this as a professor!) because his teaching style was charismatic, clear, and fast-paced while still keeping everyone “riding the bus” of understanding so to speak. Most importantly for this particular topic, he was careful & evidence-based about separating fact from fiction, conspiracy from reality. If you’re also a fan of Jewish history, WWII stuff, or simply love history & politics, go to Bariloche—hell, go to Argentina!—simply for this tour. You won’t regret it!
Walking tour with Frederick on a windy & brisk Thursday afternoon in late April. Wife and I were two of ten other English speakers learning about the three waves of immigrants entering Bariloche over the past couple centuries. Our guide wasn’t particularly enthusiastic or informative, and his organization of laminated pages was considerably haphazard. I don’t recommend spending time or money for this tour.
Hi. Sorry about our windy & rainy Autum. We use roofs on those days for tourist protection. We will talk to the guide Frederic to enhance his energy & enthusiasm in such a intriguing topic as the german footprint & nazi presence in Bariloche. Thank you for your review.
It was very informative and fascinating; however, there were a number of seniors on the tour and the leader went entirely too fast. The terrain was very hilly and uneven and the timing of the tour was too late. By end of tour it was very dark and with the pace and bumps and holes in terrain I’m surprised we didn’t fall. That being said Diego was an awesome tour guide. Very good at explaining things in detail and making the story come alive.
Hi Nancy. You are right about the darkness. Your tour was the last one in summer season schedule starting at 7:00 pm. From tomorrow on it starts at 5:00 pm and things will be brighter & at a softer pace. Thank you for your feedback
Beautiful place Bariloche and surroundings. Highly recommended to go at any time of the year.
The worst activity we attended in our two months of visiting SA. Our group was large and purchase stopped on every busy traffic corner to speak to us. The traffic noise was overwhelming to his speaking, often drowning him out. Often climbing steep hills to arrive at our destinations, we were usually positioned in the hot sun, while our speaker had his back to the sun, forcing us to look directly into it. You would learn more doing a quick google search then what we got here on the German footprint in Bariloche.
Hi Steven. We are sorry that you did not enjoy the tour as much as other tourist do. We will revise the stopping spots and pump up the volume and clarity of the guides voices. Probably was a very busy day as easter long weekend and chocolate festival was on in Bariloche. Thank you for your valuable feedback.
Brilliant. Worth every penny. He knows all the stuff and is able to explain it clearly and with enthousiasm.
A very interesting tour about the three waves of German migration to Argentina’s Patagonia. Fascinating to see where they lived and the influence they had on the culture. Amazing that actual high ranking officers in the Third Reich actually lived in Bariloche.
Very polished walk and Diego was a great storyteller. We learnt a lot and really enjoyed our evening. Throughly recommended.
Tour was great, very informative, and Diego was an engaging storyteller. We also appreciated that he shared pictures of people and places as the tour progressed.
