Wonderful experience- we traveled as a family with teens and everybody enjoyed it. The teens didn't know the movie before
Best experience of trip. Absolutely loved the Sphere
Parking was not pleasant. Show was awesome though. Definitely recommend seeing anything at The Sphere.
The show was great, and I would highly recommend sitting in the 300s for the best overall experience. Unfortunately, I’m giving a lower rating because of how our belongings were handled. Security took our portable chargers and power cords, valued at over $100, and threw them away rather than allowing us to secure them in the lockers located just inside the entrance. We were told these items were prohibited because of a hackers convention taking place. What made this especially frustrating was that once inside, you could rent the same types of charging equipment for $8. I completely understand the need for increased security, but confiscating and disposing of guests’ personal property—especially when lockers were available just inside—felt unnecessary and poorly handled.
Highly recommend. Anything at the sphere is a must if it’s your first time. The experience is out of this world!
Seeing “The Wizard of Oz” at the Sphere was a good experience. The tornado scene was outstanding. It was my favorite part. It was terrifying. The Sphere itself is really cool to see. On the downside, the movie was cut to shreds - many, many edits to important scenes and the deletion of entire songs. This was very disappointing. Also, the immersive experience was not so great. The seats shook (kinda like Disney) and some things fell from the sky but not on us. There weren’t enough to get an Apple or a leaf. I didn’t sees any butterflies at all. Overall, I’m glad I went mainly to see the Sphere and experience it. The $115 ticket to sit in the highest section served a little expensive though.
The experience of the show, fantastic. Definitely recommend. HOWEVER.. the lack of communication PRIOR to arriving to give guests a heads up to not bring electronic devices, cell phone charging equipment (cords, portable chargers) as well as other camera items one would have when they are in Vegas.. would have been fantastic. Especially when I booked directly through Ticketmaster. I respect your rules. But, my bag was searched and two items were removed telling me I couldn't bring them in and couldn't use the on-site lockers. So I then had to leave my family to check items at the luggage stand at THE VENETIAN (not a short walk). Thankfully, I got back in time since there is no late seating allowed. But then the second search of my bag, the first person didn't check it fully, apparently to find more restricted items (the cell phone charging equipment), but I didn't have time to yet again GO BACK to the Venetian and make the show in time. So therefore had to throw away expensive items. Had I been told the first time, it wouldn't have been a big deal. I feel like the Sphere robbed me. Literally. The whole bag should have been searched fully before I was sent away the first time. The facility needs to provide lockers at a distance you feel is safe from hackers (because that's the whole reason they did this, there was a recent hacker convention in town). I’m not a hacker. Just a mom prepared to film our adventures and charge our devices. I probably would have bought merchandise after the show, but I refused to give The Sphere anymore of my money after this experience. I give a high rating for the show. Wish I could give a zero star for the lack of communication and lack of letting me pay to store my items in YOUR lockers. I gladly would have.
On Aug 10, 2026, I was not allowed to enter because I had an IPhone MagSafe charger in my purse. Security man said, oh these are normally not a problem, but while defcon is in town we’re not allowing these. And I was supposed to know this??? I had reviewed the prohibited item list and saw no reference to phone chargers.) There are no lockers available to store such items before entering. I am a tourist and had no vehicle to stash this charger, nor could I reschedule. So I wound up having to THROW AWAY THE CHARGER!!!!! I will never be back to the Sphere again.
Amazing experience so glad we did it, gutted didn’t get the golden apple but could buy a red one. Beakers are so worth it
Sphere security did an unannounced change and made me throw away my charging battery or not enter. They said related to a conference in town and said purposely didn’t announce. Clearly very inconvenient to paying customers. Staff could only say they didn’t make the decision. Be forewarned the venue is not prioritizing customers.
