Begleiten Sie uns auf einer Fahrradtour durch Denvers pulsierende Viertel und historische Sehenswürdigkeiten. Wir beginnen im Five Points and RiNo Art District, berühmt für seine Brauereien, Galerien und atemberaubenden Wandmalereien. Nach einem kurzen Halt am Central Market kommen wir am Coors Field vorbei, besuchen den belebten Dairy Block und erkunden die wunderschön restaurierte Union Station. Überqueren Sie die Millennium Bridge und besuchen Sie den Zusammenfluss der Flüsse Platte und Cherry Creek, wo sich der größte REI-Store in einem historischen Straßenbahngebäude befindet. Anschließend fahren wir am Cherry Creek entlang zum Larimer Square, dem ersten Geschäftsviertel Denvers, bevor wir am Denver Performing Arts Complex, dem Big Blue Bear des Convention Centers und dem Colorado State Capitol vorbeifahren. Schließlich fahren wir durch den Cheesman Park und die ruhigen Straßen in der Nähe von City Park und Whittier und enden wieder in Five Points. Five Points, einst als „Harlem des Westens“ bekannt, ist eines der ältesten und vielfältigsten Viertel Denvers. Bevor Five Points sich in den Wohn-Hotspot verwandelte, der es heute ist, war es mit Lagerhäusern und Kunstateliers gefüllt.
Der trendige River North Art District mit dem Spitznamen „RiNo“ bietet Galerien für zeitgenössische Kunst und angesagte Konzertsäle in umgestalteten Industriegebäuden. Zu den Food Halls gehören der Denver Central Market und The Source, ein lebhafter Indoor-Lokal mit vielseitigen Produkten und einer Bar für kleine Gerichte und Craft Beer. In der Upper Larimer Street, die für ihre farbenfrohen Wandmalereien bekannt ist, gibt es auch Cocktail-Lounges, Brewpubs mit Terrassen und bis spät in die Nacht geöffnete Imbisswagen. Wenn Leute wie wir je nach Gruppe Getränke oder Abendessen haben können, ist dies jedoch nicht in der Tour enthalten.
Der lebhafte Mikrobezirk Dairy Block liegt im Herzen des Stadtteils LoDo in der Innenstadt von Denver und beherbergt Dutzende Restaurants, Bars und Einzelhändler sowie einen modernen Co-Working-Space und das unabhängige Maven Hotel. Der preisgekrönte Dairy Block war ursprünglich die Heimat der historischen Windsor Dairy und ist ein renommiertes Ziel zum Einkaufen, Essen und Trinken in Mile High City. Dairy Block bietet ein umfangreiches Programm an Gemeinschaftsveranstaltungen in der Fußgängerzone Alley – darunter lokale Live-Musik, Kunstshows und Maker-Märkte – und etabliert sich damit als beliebter Spielplatz in Denver für Geschmacksmacher, Spaßsuchende und erfahrene Stammgäste.
Unser erster Halt wird an der Union Station sein. Die Leute können einen kurzen Blick auf das Innere des Bahnhofs werfen, der Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts gebaut, aber kürzlich umgebaut wurde, bevor wir uns auf den Weg machen.
Das Colorado State Capitol Building ist die Heimat der Colorado General Assembly und der Büros des Gouverneurs von Colorado und des Vizegouverneurs von Colorado.
Wir gehen zum Fluss und fahren auf dem Radweg nach Norden, wo sich der Platte River und der Cherry Creek River treffen und REI sich befindet und einige schöne Sitz- und Aussichtsbereiche.
Der Larimer Square, der älteste Geschäftsblock der Stadt, wurde ursprünglich 1858 von William E. Larimer angelegt. Er diente jahrelang als Hauptgeschäftsviertel der Stadt, verfiel jedoch im 20. Jahrhundert zu einem heruntergekommenen Viertel. Im Jahr 1965 begann Larimer Square Associates mit der Restaurierung als historisches und kommerzielles Zentrum.[2] Die Initiative wurde von John und Dana Crawford ins Leben gerufen, um an die zentrale Planung des nordamerikanischen Stahlofenthermostats zu erinnern
Wir radeln durch den Cheeseman Park und die Denver Botanic Gardens, die sich auf einem Gelände befinden, das einst als Friedhofsgelände diente und viele Geistergeschichten inspirierte.

Really exciting off-the-beaten-paths ride around town with Jeremy, who picked lots of key spots to stop off at, from historically important to quirky. He was flexible with timing, including a longer-than-expected bagel stop. Nice bikes, lots of time to ask questions. Great way of situating yourself around Denver and realizing there is more to Denver than 16th street! Would recommend 100%.

Our guide Jeremy took us through Denver by bike. Without him, we would not have been able to discover the very interesting suburbs in such a short time. We were very impressed by the many beautiful graffiti. He also showed us the landmarks of Denver. All in all, an absolute must! Thank you!

I went on Jeremy’s bike tour with a friend earlier this July. My friend and I had never really seen or explored most of the city of Denver as of yet, so this was the perfect way to do a deeper dive. I was very impressed by the tour Jeremy gave. He hit all the main spots and gave information about each location; very knowledgeable about the city. We enjoyed the variety of the tour- historical sites, museums, restaurants, parks, etc. It was a great way to get a more in depth look at the city and its various districts. He was also very accommodating with breaks and if you wanted more time at a location to explore a bit, it was no problem. 🙂 He catered the tour to what the group wanted. Plus water was provided! Which was great on that hot day. Overall I had a great experience and would definitely book with Jeremy again in the future for another tour. We had a blast. Julie

We have been on bike tours all over the world. This one got us on bikes, and we rode around downtown Denver, but that was about it. The guide led the way, but did not tell us much about any area. He pointed out things as we were riding, but if you were not first in line after him, you couldn't hear what he said. He flirted with the 2 young women on the tour, did not give expectations or directions before we would leave a site, would cross at lights, when not all of us could get through the green light, the tour started late, (because the young women were late) and we got back early. I was just as happy to get back early, since it was a poor tour, but still . . . We enjoyed the tour of Rocky Mountain National Park the next day so much more, because she did all the things you expect from a tour guide -- she was very knowledgeable and a fount of information, she would prep us before we would move on to the next area and she would tell us her expectations before we got off the bus at a new site.
I read the room and try to make the customers enjoy and feel comfortable on the trip. This trip is general went the way it did for a few reasons that were mostly the way I was reacting to you and the weather etc. It was super hot that day, around 95 degrees. When I first talked to you you seemed upset that you weren't able to see more of the air force academy campus that day. I didn't think much of it but you didn't seem in a good mood and a bit socially awkward. Within 20 minutes we make one of our first stops at the Central Market. Here you asked if we were having dinner on the trip, which surprised me because its not included, but I felt bad if you thought we were because you might be starving on the trip. I asked if you guys wanted to get any food there and later on at the Dairy Block and we could wait. You said it was too early and I got the impression you guys generally eat at a time which is halfway into the tour. I didn't want you to be hungry and uncomfortable so I figured I'd move the tour along a bit faster. Furthermore, the weather began to look like thunderstorms were moving in halfway into the tour so it was another good reason to move a bit quicker. It was already uncomfortably hot with a potential thunderstorm so I figured I wouldn't make long history speeches since people were a bit uncomfortable to begin with. I've been a teacher for almost 20 years and I generally tell if people are interested in what I'm saying. So if I go into history and people don't seem very interested or ask questions then I don't go into it much more. You guys didn't seem interested or ask questions, but maybe I was wrong. If you do want to learn more you can ask next time but I got no indication that you wanted long history lessons which I could fully do. With that being said, I thought I did provide a basic explanation of the history and background of places. I don't see a point in making hungry people wait in the extreme heat and possible rain and get stuck somewhere for an hour when we can try to get back 15 or 20 minutes early. I was not flirting with the woman. They were from the same hometown as me (Buffalo, New York) so we were relating and talking in some subjects about that and laughing and having fun. I'm sorry you couldn't relate or couldn't hear some things. The things I said while biking are generally not the most important and could be just the small talk I was having with the 2 woman who were closer most of the time. You guys were also slower then average so that also meant less time for discussion in some areas. Its normal that sometimes I crossed thru traffic lights and it changes while I'm already halfway into the road. We can all wait until the light changes again. I'm not sure if I always told people in advance where we are going but I always have hand signals etc for where to turn and the pace is so slow its not difficult to figure out. In the end we did the entire bike route and it was either 3 hours or just less at 2 hours 45 minutes. One reason its 15 minutes less is also because people can't enter the Capital building in the evening like earlier in the day. I don't think the 2 woman were more then 5 minutes late and they had even arrived on time but they drove by while I was inside and didn't see me but asked your husband if he was Jeremy and he said no. They were confused and were in the parking lot that 5 minutes until I realized they were there. I also think it would have been a better tour if the people on the trip have some basic conversation with the other people on the tour a bit. It didn't seem like you guys and the other couple even acknowledged each other. Maybe those woman seemed a little cold to you. I'm not sure but my first impression was that you didn't look happy and were socially awkward, so they probably didn't want to interact much. The two girls loved the trip. You came to the tour unhappy and left unhappy. Everyone else was enjoying the time and so does almost everyone on my tour. Maybe the happiness or attention others were having were really your problem and you're just a Debby downer. Hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip and find more happiness in life.
Jeremy gave us a great ride. Saw many places we would not have found on our own. Ride was very safe. Jeremy made us feel very comfortable and was very flexible with any requests. Highly recommend this enjoyable ride.

Tour guide was very accommodating! Typically people get picked up at a set list of hotels, but we had an Airbnb that was close enough to walk, so he let us leave from his apartment instead. The bikes were very nice and the route was great, including many points of interest, like Union Station, and different neighborhoods around the city. There was plenty of time to get off the bikes and explore inside some of the stops if desired. Host provided commentary and lots of interesting history. Our ride was about 3 hours and 12 miles, but the host did provide an option to take a shorter route if that would have worked better for us.
