We really enjoyed this tour and loved learning about the side of Osaka that we would not have otherwise been able to see. Taka was an amazing guide who could speak on his personal experiences and local sentiment.

Fantastic experience and a different side of Osaka! We did Deep Street Osaka with our guide, Kata, and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience! The Kata was super friendly, fun and very interesting, making the tour relaxed and full of good stories and curiosities. Thanks to it, we were able to get to know a much less touristic side of Osaka and discover places and environments that we would probably never have found alone. It was much more than just a walk — it was a true immersion in the city and its culture, always with a very good mood and excellent company. An experience that we highly recommend and which one cannot miss in Osaka. And if possible, do it with Kata!

My husband and I booked this tour because we wanted to discover a different side of Japan and see what life is like beyond the shopping malls, famous sights, and neon-lit streets. It turned out to be worth every cent and, without a doubt, the best tour we joined during our trip to Japan. Our guide, Taka, was fantastic. He took us through the backstreets of Osaka, shared fascinating stories about everyday life, and showed us a side of Japan that most tourists would never get to see on their own. It was interesting, authentic, and eye-opening from beginning to end. When booking, you can choose between the tour only or the tour with dinner. I would definitely recommend choosing the dinner option. It was a wonderful addition to the experience, with delicious local food and a great atmosphere. Taka, thank you for showing us Osaka in such an interesting and memorable way. We absolutely loved the experience and highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to go beyond the usual tourist attractions and discover another side of Japan.

What an absolutely incredible experience. Taka is a fantastic and friendly guide, and I learned a ton about Osaka and the history of Japan from him. We had a great time on the Deep Osaka Night Walking Tour. It was different in a good way from tourist walking tours as it went deeper into how the locals live in Osaka. I strongly advise adding the meal onto the end of the tour as we made some good friends sharing Karoke. Ruti was a great guide and singer.

Very good. A look at parts of Japan I doubt many people want you to see. Fun times and some sobering up times.

It has been a fantastic experience. Perhaps not the usual tour but it does show you some of the Osaka (and Japan for all that matter) that is also real and that guides don’t really show. If you’re interested in an experience and a real conversation, this is a great tour. Dudu was a wonderful caring guide with an answer for all questions!

Most unique and interesting walking tour we have ever done. Definitely not a site seeing tour. In 3 hours, our knowledgeable, well spoken and humorous guide Rudy gave us an overview of some of the most important political and socioeconomic issues in Osaka and Japan as a whole are facing right now -- declining population, immigration, a new push towards militarization not seen since WW2. We also learned very interesting tidbits about how unregulated alcohol is in the country, how gambling and prostitution are technically illegal in the country as well as the comical loopholes that allow them to flourish. We chose the food option and were pleasantly surprised by how delicious the after tour meal was. This was an amazing and very educational tour. Our family of 6 (between 19 and 53 years old) all loved it. I can't recommend this enough to anyone who wants a glimpse into real Japanese society on their visit to this wondrous nation.

Great experience. Guide was very cool and knowledgeable. Considerate of my being older. Gave great experience learning about other sides of the Japanese culture. Food add on was not that great and not worthy the Money. But tour was great !!
