The experience was great! I had an amazing time snorkeling, enjoying the crystal clear water, the wildlife and the food. The local community was very kind and patient. It does immensely if you comprehend and speak the language to be better immersed with the locals. It was almost as if my partner and I got a VIP tour it was only us but I think that was just by coincidence.

I am passionate about local gastronomy and I avoid fancy restaurants when I travel. The lunch they served us on the island (a whole fish straight over a wood fire, accompanied by crispy plantains and rice) was by far the best meal I tried in Panama. Simple, fresh, made by local families with an unforgettable homemade seasoning

I have had a mild phobia of the deep, open sea since I was a child. When we approached the shipwreck at Isla Perro, I almost stayed in the boat. Our Guna guide noticed that I was freezing up, took a life preserver, swam right next to me, and guided me step by step to the shallow area over the wreck where I could still touch the sand. Seeing the colorful fish swim through the structure of the ship while feeling completely supported was a great personal triumph for me.

Marshalls of Sutton On Trent provided the coach and driver for this event. The coach was superb and the driver James was excellent. His knowledge of driving in London was excellent and he provided key information in a friendly manner. He was a credit to Marshalls. The whole trip was great and the ABBA show was superb. I traveled with my 65-year-old parents and I was afraid that boarding and disembarking the boats would be difficult for them. The Guna guides and captains were extremely attentive, holding their hands the whole time and choosing beaches with a gentle entry into the water. My parents loved every second and felt super safe!

We got caught in a small tropical downpour during the boat ride, but the crew immediately took out bags to protect our backpacks. What left the biggest impression on me was Captain Guna's talk once we arrived at the island. No formal speeches, just him showing us the reef with the naked eye: 'You can swim over there to see the fish, but no further because the current will take you out to sea'. You can tell they know their sea by heart. It's rustic, it's wild, and that is exactly why we loved it.

The 4x4 drive from Panama City to the dock crosses the forest reserve and is a continuous succession of steep climbs, vertical descents, and sharp turns. If you suffer from motion sickness, do not have a heavy breakfast and take a motion sickness pill an hour before departure. Fortunately, the driver was going at a moderate speed, but the route remains challenging.

I traveled with my 5-year-old son, and my biggest concern was safety on the speedboat. I felt very relieved to see that the agency had specific life jackets for children, the right size, and with secure buckles. The captain of the boat made sure to personally adjust his life jacket and pointed out the middle seats, where the impact of the waves is softer, everything very safe!

Simply wonderful and unavoidable. So the way on the road that can cause a little nausea, but it's worth it.

I greatly appreciated how responsible our guide Guna was, even before we jumped into the water at Perro Chico. He gathered the entire group and clearly pointed out exactly where we could swim and where the dangerous currents start near the sunken ship. Thanks to his precautions, we all felt super safe while snorkeling.
