Der Hell’s Gate Nationalpark ist ein Nationalpark in Kenia. Benannt ist der Park nach einem schmalen Bruch in den Klippen, einst ein Nebenfluss eines prähistorischen Sees, der die frühen Menschen im Rift Valley ernährte. Es wurde 1984 gegründet. Der Nationalpark beherbergt auch fünf Geothermiekraftwerke in Olkaria. Der Park verfügt über drei einfache Campingplätze und umfasst ein Maasai-Kulturzentrum, das über die Kultur und Traditionen der Maasai informiert.
Der Naivasha-See ist ein Süßwassersee in Kenia außerhalb der Stadt Naivasha im Nakuru County, der nordwestlich von Nairobi liegt. Es liegt im Great Rift Valley. Der Name leitet sich vom lokalen Maasai-Namen ɛnaɨpɔ́sha ab, was „das, was sich hebt“ bedeutet, ein gebräuchliches Maasai-Wort für Gewässer, die groß genug sind, um Wellenwirkung zu haben, wenn es windig oder stürmisch ist. Naivasha entstand aus einem britischen Versuch, den Maasai-Namen auszusprechen. Wörtlich bedeutet Lake Naivasha "See".

If you’re looking for the best day trip from Nairobi, this is it. Wandu Safaris organized an incredible Day Trip To Hell’s Gate National Park and Lake Naivasha Boat Ride.
