Unser erster Halt wird das Dorf Oia sein, das berühmteste Dorf von Santorini auf der Nordseite der Insel. Nächster Halt auf unserem Tourplan ist das Dorf Firostefani, die „Krone von Fira“, das seinen Namen seiner erhöhten Lage verdankt. Ein weiteres unvergessliches Erlebnis erwartet uns in Profitis Ilias, sobald wir den Gipfel des Berges Profitis Ilias (Prophet Elijah) erreichen, dem höchsten Punkt von Santorini auf einer Höhe von 600 Metern über dem Meeresspiegel. Hier werden wir das Gebiet des gleichnamigen historischen Klosters erkunden und weitere Fotos des Panoramablicks von diesem erstaunlichen Aussichtspunkt machen.
Das Dorf Pyrgos, das am Fuße des Berges Profitis Ilias liegt, wird das erste traditionelle Dorf unserer Tour sein. Dieser Ort bietet uns einen charakteristischen Panoramablick auf beide Seiten von Santorini, während er Merkmale der venezianischen Herrschaft bewahrt. Darüber hinaus machen die traditionellen kykladischen Häuser und Wege rund um die alte venezianische Burg das Dorf Pyrgos zu einem Ort, den man sich nicht entgehen lassen sollte.
Der rote Strand von Akrotiri ist zweifellos einen Besuch wert, da es sich um einen seltenen Anblick handelt, wahrscheinlich einzigartig auf der ganzen Welt, wo Rot die dominierende Farbe ist. Es ist von steilen roten Hügeln umgeben, die eine faszinierende, wilde Landschaft schaffen. An diesem Punkt unserer Tour nehmen wir Sie gerne zum Schwimmen im schillernden kristallklaren Wasser des berühmten Schwarzen Strandes (auch bekannt als Perissa) mit, wenn Sie dies wünschen.
