Etwa 60 km von Doha entfernt in der südöstlichen Ecke des Landes liegt eines der beeindruckendsten Naturwunder Katars, die „Binnensee“ oder Khor Al Adaid. Ein von der UNESCO anerkanntes Naturschutzgebiet mit eigenem Ökosystem, ist dies einer der wenigen Orte auf der Welt, wo das Meer tief in das Herz der Wüste eindringt. Unzugänglich auf der Straße, kann diese ruhige Weite des Wassers nur über die sanften Dünen erreicht werden. Laut UNESCO repräsentiert Khor Al Adaid „eine bemerkenswerte Landschaft“ mit „landschaftlicher Schönheit von Weltklasse“. Das Gebiet beherbergt eine einzigartige Tierwelt, darunter mehrere Arten, die international selten und/oder bedroht sind, wie Schildkröten. Khor Al Adaid ist auch die Heimat von Populationen bestimmter Vogelarten, die von nationaler und regionaler Bedeutung sind - Langstrecken-Wasservögel Winter. Besucher können auch Fischadler sehen, die auf Inselchen und arabischen Gazellen nisten.
Khor al Udaid (auch Khawr al Udayd und Khor al-‘Udeid) ist eine Siedlung und Zufluss des Persischen Golfs im Municipio Al Wakrah im Südosten Katars an der Grenze zu Saudi-Arabien. Sie wird von lokalen englischen Sprechern als "Inland Sea" bezeichnet.

Amazing experience with Sabzali, what a guide, he literally amazed us with the dune bashing during the sunset, we also did sun boarding and swimmed in the beach next to the desert. If you come to Qatar you should definitely book that fun excursion.

Had an amazing desert safari experience with Abdul Rehman. The ride through the desert on the sand Dunes was exhilarating. My daughter really enjoyed the camel ride, holding the Falcon and surfing down the sand dune. Thank you Abdul for an amazing trip Patel Family

Abdul Rehman was our guide for desert safari. It was amazing trip. We made an unforgettable memories riding a camel and dune dashing and riding quad bikes in the Qatar desert and along gulf beach with amazing views. Recommend the to do the trip for those who kile similar activities

The desert safari was an unforgettable experience with stunning views and exciting activities. Although Asim arrived an hour late, he kindly compensated us with a free camel ride, which made the wait worthwhile. He was friendly and knowledgeable, adding to the overall enjoyment of the trip. I would definitely recommend this adventure to anyone visiting Qatar

Our desert safari with Sabzali was an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish! He was friendly, professional, and made sure everyone in the group was comfortable and having fun throughout the trip. His driving skills during the dune bashing were incredible - thrilling but always felt completely safe. Sabzali was also really knowledgeable about the desert and local culture, sharing interesting facts along the way and helping us capture some stunning photos at sunset. The whole experience was so well organised and full of great memories. If you’re planning a desert safari, I can’t recommend Sabzali enough. He truly made the adventure special! 🌅🐫

Fun & thrill packed tour with great guide Asim in the Arabian Desert today. The dune bashing was incredible and hair raising ! I was pretty useless at sand boarding though, it’s an age thing! Not to be missed if you visit Qatar.

We had booked a 4 hour tour with Asim through the desert! We can recommend it to anyone who wants a mix of adrenaline and nature. The dune bashing was just cool and we felt very safe with Asim.
