Das Curaçao-Ganztages-Private-Tour-Erlebnis

My husband and I had a wonderful time on our private tour with our tour guide Juan. We customized our tour and was able to accomplish so much in five hours. Juan picked us up promptly at 9am from Sandals Royal Curacao resort and took us from one end of the island to the other end of the island in a five hour time span. We saw everything we wanted to see from our wish list (Boca National Park, Turtle Beach/Playa Piskado, Grote Knipp Beach - which is the most stunning beach, the Flamingo sanctuary (the flamingos were hiding out so we only saw a couple from a distance), and street art in Otrabanda). He also took us around to some hidden gems we were not aware of like a colorful restaurant off a country road, the slave museum, The Windmill farm which supplies electricity for the island, and his family bakery for delicious treats. Juan was extremely knowledgeable and very personalbe and made our day more enjoyable. We learned so much about the culture and history of Curacao. He also shared a lot of his personal stories, upbringing and family stories with us which were heartwarming and allowed us to learn more about Curacao as a whole. There was never a dull moment on this tour. He gave us as much time as we wanted to explore on our own and shared facts with us about each site. I highly recommend this tour as well as Juan the tour guide. Curacao is a beautiful island and is meant to be explored.

Everything about this company is nothing but professional We were sent a map of exactly where the driver would meet us along with pictures of the 4 potential drivers. We got to Starbucks and there was our driver…Ray From the moment we met Ray we felt we were with a friend. My wife has a walker and he was constantly making sure she was safe as we moved about on the excursion. Because of Ray we got to see sea turtles, flamingos and hear a very deep and thorough history of the island Ray was understandable proud of his island and heritage. The icing on the cake was when we were in the city we told Ray we wanted to get a bite to eat but wanted a view. Ray takes us to a little cafe right on the water and by the moving bridge. What a perfect way to end a wonderful tour of the island You always wonder when you see nothing but 5 tattings if they are hiding the other ratings I can tell you personally that the rave reviews are well deserved. Saying goodbye to Ray was saying goodbye to a new friend All my wife and I could say to Ray was thank you for your kindness to us and for making our tour so very special.

Had a wonderful day with Ray as our guide. Very informative and knowledgeable. Threw some random questions out and he new the answer right off. Ray took very good care of us, drove exceptionally and had us at a spot for lunch with an incredible view sea side with the opportunity to cliff dive if you feel so brave... Plenty of stops, fully customizable trip. 100% worth booking.

Great experience. Shue was a great guide and driver. Very knoledgable. Would hire him again. Best way to experience the island is with a private guide and driver. He also helps plan the day and recommends activities if you are not sure.

Had a great day with Ray! We started off kilter as we were late due to ship time vs local time but Ray patiently waited for us. He did a great job of personalizing our experience making the day unique. My husband is a huge baseball fan ( youth and pro ) so we had a stop at an incredible little league stadium. His knowledge of the sites and island in general was top notch ,never leaving a question unanswered. I strongly recommend you spending a day getting to know the island in this intimate manner .

Had a great time with Juan! He gave us, not just a comprehensive history about the island, but he also told us a great deal about his family which was intertwined with the rich culture of Curacao. We learned about the language, the music, got to sample the beaches, and of course we got to taste the famous Blue Curacao. Would highly recommend this tour. It was a great overview, and now we know where to go when we inevitably come back!

We had the best afternoon in Curaçao with Juan!! We felt a private tour would be best for our group as we have one with some health issues and limited mobility in certain situations. The company communicated well, reaching out to ask what ship we’d be on and when we’d arrive and they provided clear instructions and photos for us to meet them. When we met up with Juan he asked us what we’d like to see and we were off from there. It’s always special to get a tour from someone who has grown up there and can tell you what it’s like to be local. Juan made sure we saw everything we wanted plus some more things he suggested, and he was an absolute joy to spend the day with! He had a great attitude, was friendly and so helpful! He made sure my MIL could see everything too even when we had to walk over some rougher terrain, he would run ahead a few steps and help her over. He could tell we preferred more laid back spots and took us to a beautiful quiet beach to swim before heading back. Absolute 10/10 experience and we hope to come back someday! Thanks Juan!!

Absolutely amazing. Ray was the best tour guide ever. Very informative and funny. So kind and accommodating. My husband and I really enjoyed this tour and all the history provided. This was a great way to see so many hot spots on the island. I would certainly recommend doing this tour over others.

If I could give Ray a million stars, I would. Right from the start we knew Ray loved his Island. He picked us up and gave us a breakdown of the island and all the options we had for the day. He gave us so many cool facts about the flamingos, the history of the island and more. Everywhere we went Ray knew who was there and greeted them with a wave, smile, and a beep. It really showed us how welcoming this island is. We saw everything we wanted to and more. Ray gave us a great balance of being involved with our trip and gave us our time alone to enjoy the island our own way. The restaurant he took us to for lunch was delicious and had amazing views. I will recommend this opportunity for an amazing excursion to anyone I know traveling to the beautiful island of Curaçao!
