Das Beste von Pearl Harbor : Die komplette Erlebnistour

Beschreibung

The guide was knowledgeable and friendly, and the early pick up was good, but the tour felt rushed and slightly disorganised. A tour of a couple of sights in Honolulu was included at the end but we would have preferred more time at Pearl Harbour. It may be that there is just too much to see at Pearl Harbour to cram it all into one day but we would have liked far more time at the battleship and at the air museum. We had less than an hour at each.
There was just one other couple with us. We had just the right amount of time at each venue to see everything thoroughly without rushing or hanging around. All instructions about where to go and when to meet back were clear and easy to follow so the day ran very smoothly. The visit to the Arizona memorial was incredibly moving and our guide’s own reflections on the event for his family, helped us to connect more fully with what it must have been like to experience this attack. Being able to see inside the USS Bowfin gave us an appreciation of the technology needed to make the vessel and what it must’ve been like living inside it. The submariners clearly felt like one big family and that they would do anything they could to save their submarine ( their home). It was amazing seeing inside the Missouri and how 3000 crew could live, work and operate together. Being able to see buildings that still bore the bullet holes from the original attack was definitely a sombre moment.
Will (Little Will) was knowledgeable, funny and very kind. He checked in on us when we were doing tours. He was on time and very patient. Highly recommend.
The in-depth tour we had was the way to go! Our tour guide Will was a wealth of knowledge, and we learned so much.i highly recommend this tour!
Chauncey did a great job taking care and guiding us. Very informative. We very much enjoyed the experience. And would highly recommend to others
Great day. Great tour guide with exceptional historical knowledge. Around 16 in tour. Highly recommend. Comfortable transport. On time.
Cousin Will was an amazing host and historian. He took very good care of us and made us all feel safe, educated and cared about.
I have always wanted to visit Pearl Harbor as I am very interested in World War 2 history and the attack on Pearl Harbor is one of the most significant events that changed the course of the war. Our small group of 18 was lead by Jeff, who was a great tour guide. Very passionate about his love for the island of Oahu. He was extremely knowledgeable about his subject and lead the day also with humour and sensitivity regarding the sad loss of servicemen on December 7th 1941. We were taken to all the main sights of PH, the Bowfin submarine, the memorial of the USS Arizona, the USS Missouri and the aviation museum. We were allowed enough time to visit these sights although could have spent much longer exploring the Missouri. We also spent time driving around the sights of downtown Honolulu and Jeff shared some interesting stories around the city. It was a long day but well worth the time. Thank you again, Jeff, for a great day in your beautiful and historic city!
Great overall tour. Got to see some of everything! Loved seeing the Bowfin and Missouri! Ethan was a great tour guide too!
David was an amazing driver and narrator. He gave us so much great information, and so much humor to go with it! Loved all our stops, it was a great day. Long, but we had many breaks. You must try the Dole whip! Sooo good!
