Cédric prepared an excellent tour and provided bikes, water and organized our lunch arrangements. We loved how friendly and easy going he was and knowledgeable about the area. He was very considerate to what our abilities and interests were and truly created an unforgettable day for us in Alsace!
Hi Abby, we are happy your liked the bike tour. We enjoyed also your good conversation and open-minded. Have fun in Alsace! Take care, Cédric from Détour Alsace 🚲
Great way to explore Alsace wine area and see the landscape. We were thrilled to be out of the city and riding bikes through vineyards and quaint villages. Wine tasting was a plus and he chose a delightful place for lunch. Definitely a highlight of our trip!
Thank you, Vanessa & Tom! We are glad you enjoyed the bike tour. Have a safe flight back to California. Take care, Cédric
Had a fantastic time with Cedric as our guide on the Alsace wine route. We were with our two teenage kids and Cedric kept them engaged with stories about the area and pointing out little details in the villages that we otherwise would not have seen. We biked through beautiful vineyards and charming villages and even did a wine tasting to stay out of the rain. What a memorable day with Cedric and Detour Alsace!

Cedric is the epitome of a great tour guide. His friendly and outgoing disposition made our day in the Route de Vin a wonderful experience. From our first communication to our last, he was prompt and courteous. He took care of us from the very start of the trip until he escorted us to the train for our return trip. If you are in Alsace DO NOT miss spending time with Cedric!! He will tailor the trip to your interests and your will have an unforgettable experience!
Our guide, Cédric, was absolutely phenomenal and provided a very informative tour seeing all the best spots in the region. Colmar, Riqewihr, Ribauvillé, Haut-Koenigberg castle, Bergheim for wine tasting with the lovely Mylène at Gustav Lorentz, and Sélestat were the main points of our tour. Highly recommend for small group sizes to get a personalized experience on the Alsatian Wine Route.
We thank you for your kind words. Best regards, Cedric
Cedric was very accommodating. He contacted me before our trip to confirm our pickup site and what it was we wanted to do on our tour. He arranged lunch and took us to wonderful sights continually checking on us. He was very knowledgeable and personable. It was a day we will never forget.
We thank you for your kind words. Best regards, Cedric

We thank you for your kind words. Best regards, Cedric
We spent 2 days with Cedric touring the Alsace Wine Route, He is an extraordinary guide and we had a very pleasant experience. He took our interests seriously and perfectly tailored our itinerary around each and every request. It was not the usual itineraries that all the guides follow, rather it was suited to our tastes and requests. He was very knowledgeable about the area having been born and raised there. His English is perfect and easy to understand. He is patient, calm and very charming. As a local, he knew the owners of the wineries we visited. He brought a platter of cheese, meats and bread so we would not be tasting wines on an empty stomach. He gave us all the time we needed - never rushed us and did not go by the clock - and did not charge us for overtime. When parking was difficult, he dropped us off at the entrance to town before parking. He then met us and walked with us through the town. It was a 5 star experience and he is highly recommended by us.
We thank you for your kind words. Best regards, Cedric
We arranged a tour with Cédric on short notice and found him very responsive to our preferences. He picked us up promptly at our Colmar hotel and we spent the day exploring a succession of some of the most picturesque villages we have ever seen. Cédric had also arranged for two winemakers otherwise closed Sundays to offer us private tastings. It was fascinating, with Cédric’s translation assistance, to discuss the importance of terroir and to see the winemakers’ passion for their craft. Cédric shared his deep knowledge of wine and the rich history of Alsace throughout the day. Having spent several months in Chicago as an intern with a major American hotel chain, his English is fluent. He also possesses a keen sense of humor and made us feel like special guests rather than merely customers. We will have great memories of our day, and we enthusiastically recommend Cédric’s services.
