We really enjoyed the tour with Max and Marco. It was relaxing, because we never had the feeling of having to rush. It was easy to converse with both of them. They took us to great sites and provided great restaurant recommendations. In the end, it was like traveling with friends.
We were throughly excited to be able to see see the Amalphi coast. Max was able to give us details that we know we would not have received from any other host. He also was able to give us personalized information about his hometown Sorrento. We were able to dip our toes in the beach and visited some amazing shops in Positano. We enjoyed the challenge from Max to try all the lemoncello in every place that we went. The private tour at Pompeii with Enzo was very enlightening. He was able to show us special details about Pompeii that we know we would not have received or been able to find out on our own. We are very happy with our experience and we hope to return one day.
We had an amazing day with Diego and Eugene. They are so proud to show you the area Napoli and Amalfi and you can feel it with their stories and their knowledge. They navigated the streets with the ease that only a local can do and put us in the best areas to get out, walk around and experience the villages and towns. My mother is still recovering from a broken hip and they took such great care to make sure she was able to enjoy the area as much as everyone else. They arranged an incredible meal overlooking Sorento and then also secured a guide for Pompeii that was so good at making the kids appreciate the experience. Would recommend to anyone and will be reaching back out to them whenever we get back
The Amalfi Coast is one of those rare places that truly deserves its worldwide reputation. Every turn along the coastline reveals breathtaking views of the Mediterranean, with colorful towns cascading down the cliffs, each offering its own unique character and charm. We spent several days exploring the area, from small cafés to family-owned restaurants, every meal was memorable. One word of advice: if you’re planning to rent a car, be prepared. Driving the narrow, winding cliffside roads can be nerve-racking, especially during the busy season. While it gave us the flexibility to explore at our own pace, there were definitely a few stressful moments. If you’re not comfortable with mountain or coastal driving, consider using the ferries or local transportation instead. Amalfi was one of the highlights of our trip. Its picturesque streets, vibrant shops, inviting cafés, and beautiful waterfront create the perfect atmosphere for wandering without an agenda. Every corner seemed to offer another postcard-worthy view. This was an unforgettable experience, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Amalfi Coast to anyone visiting Italy. We had a wonderful experience on our tour to Amalfi Coast and Pompeii! Eugenio was a wonderful guide and very skilled driver! He knew of all the best places to stop for pictures, views, food, etc. He even took pictures for us! We had plenty of time at each stop to get out and explore or grab a snack. I am leaving mixed reviews: We did not connect with the guide until 25 min. after our designated time to meet. He was not standing in the area where the other guides were, only nearby, so although we kept looking for him, we could not find him. He did send a picture of himself so we could identify him via Whatsapp but I did not get the message until after we left the cruise ship (at which point I did not have internet connection). Also, when we did connect with him, the signage on the tablet was dark so I wasn't able to see my name. Although this private tour included an hour in Positano, we were only allowed to view it from above. The reason given was that there was construction there and it would take a 1/2 hour to walk down to the town (walk down????). This was disappointing and I felt we should have been told ahead of time about that development. The guide himself was personable and did stop at places along the Amalfi Coast for breathtaking pictures. He talked about Napoli which was engaging and informative. We had also paid extra for a different private guide at Pompeii which was fantastic which made up for the earlier debacles. For the cost of this tour, I can only give a 3 star review based on the above events.

We are truly sorry to read that your experience did not fully meet your expectations, especially because this is the first time we have received this kind of review, and we take it very seriously. Regarding the meeting at the Naples cruise port, I would like to clarify that I personally contacted you in the days before the tour and again the day before, providing all the necessary instructions to find the meeting point. We always do this because we understand that, for guests arriving in Naples for the first time, the cruise terminal can feel confusing and very busy. The meeting point itself is actually very easy to reach, less than one minute on foot from the cruise ship exit, but when several ships are docked at the same time there can be hundreds of people in the same area — sometimes 300, 400 or even 500 people, including drivers, guides, tour leaders and guests. For this reason, I sent you precise instructions and photos via WhatsApp, to make the meeting as smooth as possible. Our driver was already there well before the scheduled pick-up time, as is our standard practice. We always arrive early — usually about 30 minutes in advance — precisely to avoid any possible issues. When you contacted me saying that you could not find the driver, I replied immediately, confirming that the driver was already there and waiting for you. I also contacted him right away and asked him to look for you as well. Shortly after that, you found each other. My response was immediate because, every morning during the cruise pick-up window, especially between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM, I keep my phone in my hand and stay fully available to assist any client who may have difficulty finding the driver. We are sorry that the meeting took longer than expected, but the driver was present, I answered immediately, and we helped resolve the situation as quickly as possible. Regarding Positano, we believe there may have been a misunderstanding. What the driver was trying to explain is that the center of Positano is 100% pedestrian. All vehicles are required to stop in the designated parking/drop-off areas, and from there guests must walk down into the village. To reach the center and the beach area, there are steep roads and many stairs to go down, and then of course the same distance has to be walked back uphill to return to the vehicle. Usually, it takes about 15 minutes to walk down and around 20 minutes to walk back up to the area where drivers are allowed to wait. This is not a decision made by us or by the driver: it is simply how Positano works, because the historic center is pedestrian. When you were informed about this, our understanding is that you preferred not to do that walk. For this reason, the driver offered to adjust the time originally planned for Positano and convert it into additional scenic driving and more time in Sorrento, which is a more modern and flatter town, much easier and more comfortable to walk around. The driver’s role is also to manage the timing carefully, especially for cruise passengers, because getting back to the port of Naples on time is always our top priority. The driver you had, Eugenio, is one of our most experienced and appreciated drivers, with many excellent reviews from past guests. He always tries to balance the itinerary, the traffic, the safety of the schedule and the comfort of the guests. Sometimes these decisions are made to protect the overall experience and, most importantly, to avoid any risk of being delayed on the return to the ship. We are very glad to know that you enjoyed the Amalfi Coast views, the photo stops, the information about Naples, and especially the private guide in Pompeii.
