What a great tour!! James was fantastic! He was super knowledgeable of not only DC scandal history but also architectural history, US history, and DC history. Booking local and wish generational DC natives is a huge win! I highly recommend this tour and the company.
Thank you for your kind review one of the benefits of doing with a local company is you sometimes get locals with long roots in the city. -James
Fun family experience. Tour guide Shane was so informative and entertaining. I would recommend this to others.
Fascinating facts about the political underbelly of DC. Our guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. Highly recommend.
Andrew provided a fun evening activity for our group. He was knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. We experienced some great spots to take photos and his ability to walk backwards while talking so we could all hear was impressive! We learned a lot about events you don’t often read about. We appreciated the fact that he had a tablet to display photos/drawings related to many of the stories he told. His experiences from working in the Capitol as a historian was cool to hear about. Well worth the ticket price.
This evening walking tour was perfect for our group after a long day of sitting in work meetings. We had time to change and grab a bite to eat before heading to the starting point. Easy to get close via Capitol South Metro stop. Our guide, Andrew, was very knowledgeable, engaging, and walked at a pace that was easy for all participants. The stories he related at each location were told with good detail and were supplemented with additional images of sketches and photos he shared on the tablet he carried. We had a group of maybe 8 people so everyone was able to see and hear easily as we went along. This was the perfect activity for us in terms of ease of registration, timing, duration, and fitness level. Plus it was fun!
Very interesting tour hearing stories you won’t read about in a typical history book - very entertaining as well!
Great spots to stop, pace was good, loved the tour guide. Beautiful photo opportunities. Stories very interesting, liked seeing photos to go along with stories.
I had a privilege of being the first person to ever participate in this tour and it was an amazing experience! Andrew the tour guide is very passionate and has great knowledge, including all the things you don't usually hear on the tour of the Capitol. It was great to learn about the history of this place from a lesser known perspective. 100% would recommend!
