Fantastic experience, a memorable day thanks also to a superlative guide. Thank you Sunni for the wonderful day, for your energy, friendliness, and happiness.
Sue Li was a lovely friendly and knowledgeable guide with good English. Sue lead us on a 12km scenic walk between Sapa and 3 local ethnic villages via terraced rice-paddies. She regularly stopped and explained things to us about village life and the different types of crops and was always happy to answer our questions. The route itself started off with a quite steep muddy section down through bamboo forest, but after this was generally level along rice-terraces, with some up/down on small roads. Overall a most enjoyable day.
Sapa day tour was really nice especially with sue lee who accompanied with us everywhere and guided very well. She was amazing❤️
We were on an incredibly nice hike in beautiful Sa Pa, which was a little more offroad than road, but not badly difficult - however we are glad we had good walking shoes on. We were lucky with the weather, which made the route easier to walk. Breakfast was very good, shared with rice and chicken/vegetarian options as well as spring rolls. Our guide Su was very friendly and shared about their own life and culture, which gives depth to the beautiful area. She adapted the trip based on what the majority wanted. However, she was not always good at keeping an eye on whether she had the back troop with or if we had lost someone. The locals push a lot on for sale, some will go with some time and help if necessary, but then at some point stop and try to sell you their stuff and they do not take no as an answer. Hold the nipples from the Indigo plant if you do not want to have blue/green hands for the next few days. It is not poisonous, but the color is very persistent. Overall a nice trip.
One of my favourite experiences across SE Asia. The trek was amazing and the views were breathtaking. Su was the most amazing tour guide, she was kind and funny and had a lot of knowledge of the local area and people and she couldn’t of cared more about the whole group and made a real effort to ensure we had a great time. Add this to your list of things to do in Sa Pa- THANK YOU SU. X
Great day trekking with Su, our guide. Discover wonderful landscapes and the customs and habits of local life. Turning his attention to all the people in the group, Su provided us with a lot of information. Great discovery. I recommend. With Su👏
We spent a very beautiful day in the middle of nature. Our guide Sue was perfect, very attentive, it was a great time. We have a very nice memory of it.
I had an amazing experience trekking through the mountains of Sapa with Sue Lee. Sue provided insight into the history of some of the tribes who call North Vietnam their home. She showed me the Sapa and Bac Ha markets and showed me the majestic beauty of the region.
Su guided us on a fantastic walk through the Muong Hoa Valley. She is a local and she really knows from personal experience how the Hmong people live. The views are incredible and we walked mostly away from the crowd. It was a very interesting walk on paths, some quite tricky, over bridges and through the rice terraces. I can 100% recommend the day walk.
Su is a great guide. She gives a lot of information about family relationships, making clothes etc, in clear English. She is also caring and wants to take nice pictures. She is very open to all our questions. The tour itself goes past 3 villages that you don't get much of, but with the guide's explanation it's fine. We went for the terraces, and they are spectacular even without rice! And very nice that we were away from the misty Sapa. This is too high for this type of weather unfortunately: our room with a view was in a thick mist all the time. We were unlucky with that.
