Very short time in Saint-Remy. More would be better to have a look around. I am not keen on churches and I felt visiting the church was a waste of time. It is a problem with group tours! I would have liked to see the hospital where Van Gogh was for a time. The tour could have included this and would have been a little bit longer. The Roman remains nearby were not very interesting. Time in the hospital or more time in St Remy would have been preferable. Les Baux was amazing and it was great that Florine stopped at an excellent vantage point for photos. Only just enough time to get a sandwich and have a quick look round. Overall a nit rushed. The point du Gard was good and about the right amount of time there.
Hello Kathryn , thank for your review, This tour include at least 1 hour in each village, regarding the church of Saint Remy (not visitable because under restoration) It seems to me that we stood about 5 or 6 minutes inside the church, which doesn't seem like a lot to me. Moreover, it marks the entrance to the village of St Rémy and is part of the culture, so it seems relevant to take a look, if only to admire the organ that is there. Sorry that it seemed useless to you. Regarding the Saint Paul hospital, if you refer to the tour program, it is not indicated to visit it but to pass by. It has happened to me, according to the wishes of my clients, to let them visit Vincent Van Gogh's room if the rest of the group allows it.
