Die Marine Dolphin Cruise gefolgt von einem 4×4 Dünenausflug zum Sandwich Harbour im Namib Naukluft Park - die epische Kombination aus dem Besten aus beiden Welten. Nach dem Glanz der Mola Mola Marine Dolphin Cruise steigen Sie auf den Waterfront Jetty aus und steigen in die 4×4 Fahrzeuge ein. Dann beginnt das Sandwich Harbour Dune Experience. Mola Mola hat einen Satz für den Tag der Meeresdünen geprägt – „EPIC IN A DAY“ – das fasst die Kreuzfahrt in der Walvis Bay Lagoon Area mit Robben und Delfinen zusammen und dann das Abenteuer und die Schönheit der großen Dünenfahrt und atemberaubenden Landschaft, alles an einem Tag! Ein leichtes Mittagessen mit Austern wird auf dem Boot serviert und Nachmittagssnacks werden auf den Dünen serviert.

Reiseverlauf
Der Tag beginnt mit dem Check-in - 8:30 Uhr in unseren Walvis Bay Waterfront Offices - um um 9:00 Uhr mit der Marine Dolphin Cruise zu beginnen. Sie erhalten eine Bordkarte und alle Boote fahren vom Waterfront Jetty (vor unserem Büro) ab. Die Marine Dolphin Cruise führt durch die Lagune, Austernfarmen bis zum Pelican Point. Hier werden Sie von der beeindruckenden 70.000 plus Cape Fur Seal Colony und dem Wahrzeichen Pelican Point Lighthouse begrüßt. In unseren informativen Guides werden Sie auf Englisch, Afrikaans, Niederländisch und Deutsch unterhalten. Häufige Sichtungen sind Bottlenose- und Heavyside-Delfine, Seehunde, Flamingos, Pelikane, Mola Molas, Pinguine und Buckel- und Südliche Glattwale (August-November). Die Rückfahrt zur Waterfront beinhaltet ein leichtes Mittagessen, frische Walvis Bay-Austern, Sekt, Getränke und Mineralwasser. Nach dem Aussteigen aus der Marine Dolphin Cruise haben die Gäste in der Regel eine Pause von ca. 20 Minuten, bevor die 4 × 4-Abfahrt stattfindet.
Die Reise nach Sandwich Harbour beginnt mit einem Stopp an der Walvis Bay Lagoon, um die Flamingos zu sehen, und führt dann durch die Walvis Bay Saltpans zum Kuiseb River Delta. Die Sandwich Harbour Lagoon und ihre reichen Feuchtgebiete sind Ramsar (eine von fünf in Namibia) und wir versuchen immer, sie über den Strand zu erreichen. Es gibt verschiedene Haltestellen und reichlich Gelegenheit für atemberaubende Fotos. Zu den Stationen gehören auch leichte Snacks, hausgemachte Backwaren, Getränke und Sekt. Einige häufige Sichtungen sind wüstenangepasste Tiere wie der Schakal mit schwarzem Rücken, der Nebelkäfer, die tanzende Spinne („weiße Dame der Namib“), der goldene Maulwurf, Springbock, Oryx, Strauß, braune Hyäne und Gecko. In der Lagune und in den Salzpfannen gibt es eine große Auswahl an Watvögeln. Dies ist ein ganztägiger Ausflug und unsere Fahrzeuge kehren normalerweise erst nach 17.30 Uhr zurück, damit der goldene Sonnenuntergang voll genutzt werden kann.

We had a blast today with Andreas! He is a great driver, very funny and a great photographer ;) We felt every bit of excitement but 110% safe on the dunes. The overal experience is amazing, the landscapes are breathtaking and, again: Andreas added to the fun. He is patient, kind and we learned a lot from him. Communication was prompt from my initial enquiry right through to final arrangements. On the day, the driver kindly waited for me when I ran late and also followed up by email. The cruise was enjoyable, with Louis being a friendly and engaging guide. The Sandwich harbour experience was amazing as well. Both meals by the shore and at Sandwich Harbour were great. A wonderful experience overall and highly recommended.

Went on lagoon cruise with Kobus and Sammy and the 4x4 dunes with Peter. Could not have asked for a better experience. The day was the best.
Amazing experience! The guides are very friendly and professional, and the views were breathtaking. It's very hard to fail with such beautiful nature! Highly recommendable! Also, Conrad is a great dune driver and a very cultured guide; we loved chatting with him!
This was a great experience! The day started with a boat tour where seal and pelican friends literally jump on the boat with you. Then you ride out to see the smelly and loud seal colony and you get some oysters and snacks/bubbly/drinks on the boat. The second part was even better in my opinion, as you explore the sand dunes by car with plenty of photo opps along the way. The tour guides were very kind and personable. It was a fun time overall!
This was such a good day. We started with the catamaran cruise and the crew (Cody, Vian and Leandri - hope I’ve remembered the names correctly!) were fantastic. We saw seals, pelicans (unexpected passengers on our boat!), humpback whales, and dolphins. They were mindful about not going too near the wild animals unlike some other chartered boats (Miandri I’m looking at you). We had amazingly fresh oysters on the way back as well. The second half of the day was the 4x4 dune ride: unfortunately can’t remember our guide’s name but he was amazing, and rode the dunes like a boss. He was very knowledgeable about the area and took us to exceptional viewpoints where we could take some amazing photos. I remember he said he was originally from north of Etosha and had come to Walvis Bay for uni. The whole day was unforgettable. The only thing that was mildly disappointing was that we were expecting a lunchtime braai which we saw from the reviews/ photos but didn’t realise that was a different tour.
Mola Mola safaris makes you live an extraordinary day and that’s no small thing! With the "navy dune day".: In the morning, boat trip with an exceptional captain and second: seals, pelicans, seagulls, dolphins. Super dedicated and invested team that prepares you in the middle of the ocean a lunch with bubbles! In the afternoon, in the process, excursion by the ocean and in the dunes: pink flamingos, climbing in the dunes, 4x4 and aperitif in the dunes with a Great Guide. The office team is also very professional and friendly (thank you for searching for my son’s “not lost” phone 😉 Large budget but equal to the services for unforgettable memories!!!!

The whole day was amazing. We spotted seals, dolphins and a waffle in the morning. Sandwich harbor was unbelievable and Peter, our driver, was the best!
