Cricova Underground Winery - mit Weinprobe

An interesting experience the tour in the wine cellar. You can, but clearly too expensive. But the organizer can't help it. The winery simply charges too much for what is offered.

Amazing experience. The tour was interesting - the Cricova winery is very impressive and really worth to visit. Wines that have been subject to the tasting experience were delicious. The guide who drive me to the winery has provided me with a lot of information on the country and its history. He also showed me a beautiful park near the Technology Faculty.

After a telephone Reservation we registered for an English tour of the wine cellars of this company. An electric ‘train’ drove us up to 100 meters deep in the 120 kilometer long corridor system. We were offered champagne and a movie. Impressive how all those thousands of bottles are stored and handled. The Guide explained everything professionally and understandably. Participation in this tour is absolutely worthwhile.

I highly recommend a tour of this winery. The client feels cared for and important. Lunch was very tasty. Aesthetically served. The sommelier was classy, unhurried and sensitive, presenting wines with dedication and passion during lunch. The time spent at Cricovia was exceptional. We are very pleased!

We were lucky enough to visit Cricova on the day of the Mustfest. It was a really great trip that we can absolutely recommend. Our guide Mtvarisa was very friendly and super organized. We felt completely at ease. The tour itself was very informative and impressive. The Mustfest rounded the whole thing off. We would definitely recommend the tour. An absolute must if you are in Chișinău for a few days. All in all: Definitely 5 stars!!!

Everything was really good. I can recommend this tour if you like wine and if you would like to see the wine cellar. Remember to bring warm clothes for the tour.

We were absolutely satisfied - our guide Nicolai was sympathetic and knew everything about Moldova's history - high recommendation! Nicolai picked us up punctually in the morning from the hotel and drove us to the winery. Along the way he explained a lot about Moldovan history and knew an answer to all our questions. We were so excited that we booked a Chisinau city tour with him the very next day! The winery itself was mega-exciting - with a bus you drive into the kilometres-wide tunnels, learn a lot about sparkling wine and wine production and can of course also taste these afterwards ;-)

Took a tour without tasting 350 lei per person. Guide Michael was very pleasant, the cellar is cold, so it is better to be in jeans and long sleeves. I liked the tour, but there's nothing to go for the second time. I drank Krikov's wine, so I only took a tour. Beautiful halls, all clean and well maintained. There's a specialty store, I don't know how much cheaper the wine is than a regular store. Before the tour, they ate at their restaurant, it was delicious and not very expensive. Prices are like a city. I recommend it if you've never been there before.

This tour is highly recommended. It was performed by Hi Moldova! We were 4 people and were picked up at the hotel by our guide Mtvarisa in a comfortable limousine. She explained a lot of interesting facts about Moldova on the way. In the winery we joined a group and drove electric cars through the cellar maze. There are storage rooms, champagne production, tasting rooms and even a cathedral. This was followed by a very nice wine tour underground. After the sightseeing we had all the time in the world in a cozy restaurant for a very good lunch and some glasses of the fantastic dry wine. On the way back to Chisinau we made a stop in a small village and visited the cemetery. Very interesting. Mtvarisa dropped us off safely at the hotel! Hi Moldova we can really highly recommend!

Our guide/driver Alex picked us up from the hotel and was extremely friendly and spoke great English. He made sure we got onto the tour at the winery and then took us back to the hotel afterwards. The winery tour was great - very informative and fun, and the wines were great. It was a fabulous way to spend our last day in Moldova. We were able to book only a day ahead, and they had openings on a Sunday. Highly recommend.
