Eines der Highlights unserer Kocherfahrung ist, dass wir als arbeitender Olivenbauernhof eine geführte Olivenölverkostung beinhalten, da wir es für wichtig halten, mit Ihnen zu teilen, wie man ein echtes natives Olivenöl Extra erkennt oder wie Säure, Ernte und Pressung die Qualität beeinflussen und vieles mehr. Sie werden auch ein kurzes Video hinter den Kulissen sehen, das zeigt, wie wir unsere Olivenbäume ernten – ein wahrer Blick in unsere Familientradition. Diese Tour ist perfekt für Reisende, die nicht nur verstehen wollen, was Kreter kochen – sondern auch wie und warum! Was a nice evening Host and her mother very friendly. Food was good. Property is beautiful. Would have liked to try more than 1 type of olive oil though and do a few icebreakers throughout the evening so the attendees can get to know each other better

Marianna and Stella welcomed us incredibly warmly, and we felt completely at home from the very first moment. After a short introduction to the farm and the family business, we started cooking together. The family has created a beautiful and very special place there, where you immediately feel welcome. Marianna showed us step by step how to prepare both an incredibly delicious vegetarian dish and a traditional meat dish. In the process, we were able to learn many new techniques and a great deal about Cretan cuisine. In the end, we conjured up a wonderful main course together. Along with it, there was a delicious appetizer, and of course, a typical Cretan dessert could not be missing. All in all, we had a wonderful time. The cooking class was not only incredibly delicious but also very personal, loving, and educational. You can immediately tell how much heart and soul goes into this family business. A very clear recommendation – we would come back anytime! 🇬🇷❤️
One of our favourite things we did our entire trip to Greece! The class was fun and hands on in a gorgeous setting, the meal was delicious, & chatting with the lovely hosts during/after is a great way to learn more about local culture. Loved it!
It was a very great cooking class with Marianne and Stella. You feel very welcome from the first minute. You can tell that the course was prepared very well and with a lot of effort. Everything is explained and demonstrated very well and clearly. We highly recommend the cooking class!
We had a wonderful evening with Marianna and Stella. A great location, very warm hosts, everything prepared perfectly, and in the end a very generous, super delicious meal - for us a vacation highlight 🫶 recommended for anyone who wants to get to know the real Crete.
This was a Wonderful Experience for my Fiancée and I. We especially enjoyed the friendliness and hospitality of Marianna and her Mother! That atmosphere was Authentic, the class had plenty of time and did not feel rushed, and the Food was delicious!
What an amazing experience! We loved this cooking class and the time spent with Mariana and her mom. I felt like we were emersed in Cretan food and culture that was far beyond any other travel cooking class I've taken. This was one of the highlights of our two weeks in Greece and I highly recommend!
Such a precious family! The experience was amazing… but aside from the cooking class, and what we actually signed up for… the WHOLE “experience” offered far more! We were introduced to the farm dog “Ira” who was adorable, we met family members and were treated like part of the family from start to finish! I feel like, in the past, similar classes have been nice but we’re ready to head back after the allotted time is up but this one? We had awesome conversation and had to make ourselves leave! It’s incredibly informative, terrific food, beautiful family, and a truly amazing experience!
Highly recommended! We had a fantastic time at this cooking class! The setting is beautiful, so peaceful, and we loved picking fresh produce from the garden to cook with. Marianna and her Mom, were a wonderful hosts who provided great explanations and thoughtfully accommodated our dietary needs. We have been really touched by their kindness. This is a complete experience, cooking but also learning more about the Greek culture, the olive oil and connecting with people. Thank you!
