Cozumel Schnorcheltour: Palancar, Columbia und El Cielo Riffe

WOW, what an experience! This was my favorite day of our week long cruise, I will remember it forever. I found this trip on Viator, the reviews were great so I gave it a try. This was soooo much fun! We went to a big beautiful reef, shallows, a starfish sanctuary and a stingray hangout. We saw turtles, sharks, stingrays and lots of tropical fish. The water was insanely clear. Our guide Ricky was so nice and knowledgeable. Jorge was a fantastic captain. And I must say, Rafael took incredible pictures!!! We ended up buying the photos, they were 1000x better than the ones I took. He was so sweet to my two girls, as they kept following him around because he had the food for the fish. I have taken many snorkel trips throughout my life and this is up near the top! I would 100% join them again. Thank you for a fun time!

Awesome experience, the guides seemed excited to see the wild life too during the excursion. Highly recommend. Good time, good snacks, and a great memory was made.

Family of four and took the afternoon trip. Fantastic experience all round. We saw a great range of marine life with multiple turtles, reef fish, sting ray’s, star fish and lobsters. We all felt safe from the get go. Our guide explained all aspects of the trip in advance and showed us how to use the snorkel gear. We were offered snacks and drinks at the 3rd location which was a perfect point on the trip. We all used the life vests which really helped while in the water. The trip was executed at a nice pace and we had plenty of time in each location.

This excursion was more than as advertised. We had and excellent guide in Omar, and the views of the reef and marine life did not disappoint. Highly recommend this excursion. We opted to book through Trip Advisor as opposed to the cruise line because we got a better experience with fewer people in our group, and the cost for the trip was lower than what the cruise line excursion offered. We were well taken care of and would book this excursion again.

Nice day, we see a lot of fishs, turtle, barracuda, nurse sharks, rays. A nice day! The only downside was that there were too many of us on the small boat. I was uncomfortably seated and would have liked a bit more room.

We loved this experience and it was the highlight of our vacation! The guides kept us all safe and were helpful and caring to ensure our snorkel gear was working properly. They prepared a delicious ceviche lunch for us at the sand bar. My only complaint is that I tried reaching out after our excursion to order photos and they never got back to me. Why take photos if you don't provide online ordering?

We were on a Royal Caribbean cruise and booked this excursion. My husband ended up not going so it was just me and our 2 kids (ages 11 and 13). We took a taxi from the port to the marina for $15 each way. The reservation said that the office (Cozumel Tours) is next to the tequila store. It is, but the storefront is also for May-be Tours (same company). After checking in we were told to wait in a covered area with seating just at the end of the shops. This is a good place to apply sunscreen as you aren't allowed to apply it on the boat. After waiting a few minutes for our guide we were walked to our boat. We had 13 guests on our boat with 3 staff. The water was calm and we had 4 stops (3 snorkeling ones and the last for the rays and snack). We saw a sea turtle, lots of fish, a couple of small sharks, lobster, star fish, etc. There is an option to purchase photos of your trip ($80 for all photos) at the end. You can also use the restroom located near the office for $1 if needed. The excursion was fun, guide (Guillermo) and captain (Josue) and photographer were all outstanding. Beautiful water and sea animals. Highly recommend!

Incredible experience, our guide Martín was very kind to everyone and supportive of the beginners, the captain we had was super attentive, always bringing the boat close to where we were so we wouldn't struggle getting back on. They took us to different locations in the same heaven to be able to see the turtles and indeed we were able to see a huge beautiful one along with a baby shark. The photographer Cristina was very kind, she didn't leave anyone without memorable photos. Highly recommended!!!

Martin and his team were very friendly and knowledgeable! They guided us thru the ocean every step of the way . It was beautiful and I felt very safe. Thanks for a great time!
