Cozumel: Private Exkursion - Minivan oder Jeep (Ihr Tag, Ihre Art)

Irving gave us a great tour of the island and shared some history and some mythology! We got to see a cenote, a crocodile, and a coati. We enjoyed getting to know a bit more about Cozumel. It was just what we asked for. We loved that we could design our own adventure. Whatever we wanted to see, he was willing to oblige.

After reading the many positive reviews, we decided to book a private Jeep excursion with Visit Cozumel during our cruise stop instead of choosing one of the much more expensive excursions offered by the cruise line. It turned out to be a decision we did not regret for a single moment. From the beginning, Mario and Gilberto were extremely responsive. During the booking process, they provided clear information and quickly answered all my questions. Before the excursion, we received detailed meeting instructions and contact information, which gave us a lot of confidence that everything was well organized. On the day of the excursion, our guide Ricky was waiting for us, and we immediately felt comfortable with him. Because we wanted to visit Mayan ruins, taste local food and drinks, and explore the island, Ricky created an itinerary that perfectly matched our interests. He took us to the San Gervasio Mayan ruins, stopped for chocolate and tequila tastings, and brought us to a small local restaurant where we enjoyed some of the best nachos and tacos we have ever tasted. Along the way, we also stopped at several beautiful places by the roadside to take photos and enjoy the amazing views. We especially appreciated Ricky’s transparency about the admission fees we would have to pay at the different stops. There were no surprises, and we always knew exactly what to expect. Ricky was friendly, flexible, knowledgeable, and made sure that we returned to the cruise ship comfortably and on time. We were very happy with our private Jeep excursion and would definitely recommend Visit Cozumel and Ricky to anyone looking for a personal and enjoyable way to discover the island. Angelo and Chewy were super accommodating and knowledgeable. We had a group of 12, mostly seniors, and they helped navigate our group to accessible spots for pictures and a great lunch on the beach. Highly recommend for those that want a tailored experience. Would definitely do again!!

We had an excellent time on our private jeep excursion. Our driver was able to suggest and bring us to some great places as well as tell us a lot about local life on the island. We loved not having to wait for large group of people to finish each stop. We were able to move on as soon as we were finished so therefore able to do and see so much more. Highly recommend this company!!

Our excursion with this company was absolutely amazing!! It was super easy to book and they remained in contact with us up until the day of the excursion, so we would know what to expect. Our family of 12 fit very comfortably in our van with A/C. Our guide knew what we would like to do, even when we didn't quite know what we wanted to do. Lol Ozzy and Chewy were absolutely amazing and took great care of us the entire time. Also, they were very knowledgeable about everything. I definitely would recommend booking this excursion and avoid cruise lines over priced excursions, then you get a little bit of everything.

Wow!! From days before the tour to the very last second, this was a wonderful experience. Our original plans cancelled on us about 24 hours before we started our vacation. So we booked this tour and I am so glad we did :-) We had an absolutely incredible experience on our Jeep tour in Cozumel! From start to finish, it was a highlight of our cruise. Our guide, Aldiar, was simply outstanding. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the island’s history, culture, and hidden gems, and you could tell he genuinely loves sharing Cozumel with his guests. Instead of just taking us to the typical tourist stops, he showed us some amazing local spots that we never would have found on our own. One of our favorite moments was when he took us to a local convenience store so we could grab authentic snacks. It was such a thoughtful touch that made us feel like we were experiencing the island like locals rather than just tourists. Aldiar was friendly, professional, funny, and made sure everyone was comfortable and having a great time throughout the day. His recommendations were spot on, and his passion for Cozumel made the entire experience even more special. If you’re considering a Jeep tour in Cozumel, don’t hesitate—book it! And if you’re lucky enough to have Aldiar as your guide, you’re in for an unforgettable day. We can’t recommend him highly enough and would absolutely do this tour again!
