Kochkurs mit ABDO in Marrakesch "Heimat von Marrakesch"

My husband and I loved this experience with Zachariah and Azzedine! We both had a lot of fun and enjoyed talking with them both. We were a small group with only one other duo who were French-speaking, but I was amazed at their ability to seamlessly integrate three languages so no one felt left out of any part of the conversation. We enjoyed our conversations and the class was not too difficult but we learned a lot about traditional food. They sent us the recipes afterwards and we even bought a tagine to recreate the dishes ourselves! I would really recommend this to others.

The cooking hosts were incredibly genuine and amicable during the class. It didn’t feel touristy at all, but we still felt like we received a well rounded experience of Moroccan cuisine and culture. Everything was also very clean and organized. I would 100% recommend!

This was the best experience we have ever done travelling in the last 10 years. Both our hosts Azgene and Zachariah (excusing the spelling boys) were amazing and very knowledgeable. They welcomed us into their home and shared the experience with us The cooking was authentic and clearly is above any restaurant food for authenticity , flavour and value for money. The good humour was enjoyable and we learned lots about the daily life in Marrakech and Morocco. These guys have an excellent product here. The food was unbelievable We enjoyed this so much and do yourself a favour, stop looking for the perfect experience, you found it here. Book it and you will not be disappointed. We typically try to do a cooking class in every new location we travel to. While we enjoyed our experience at Abdo’s kitchen, this experience was more of a cooking demonstration with light contribution by helping cut some things rather than having ownership of the dish. It was a traditional Moroccan dinner with the Moroccan salad, chicken tajine, and an orange based dessert. The experience did go a bit long, expect some time just sitting since tajine takes an hour to make! We also have received recipes in the past at cooking classes; to be honest, I’m not sure we’d be able to replicate this exactly, but it was fun nevertheless! I’d recommend eating a light snack prior, as we didn’t begin eating until after 8:00 pm for our 5:30 pm cooking class. We really did enjoy ourselves, it was just a bit different than we expected!

This will remain as the best memory of Marrakech for us. We met punctually, went to this pretty apartment, prepared, chatted, cooked and it was like being with friends, although we knew nobody. We felt welcome and taken cared of. Such a wholesome experience.

Abdo met us at meeting point to show the way to his home. Prepared foods and had lovely conversations while food was cooking. Was a fabulous time!

We had a wonderful time at the cooking class. The hosts are sooo funny and we learned a lot about the morrocan cuisine. Our team compatition in preparing mint tea was fantastic. ( maybe because I won it 😜) I highly recommend this event to everyone, who is in Marrakech. You will not regret it, I promise.

We had a amazing time and learned a lot about Moroccan cooking. It was fun, interesting and delicious experience. Being in a authentic Moroccan house madenit even more special. Highly recommended!
