Seamus was an enthusiastic and well informed guide who kept us entertained with stories while expanding our knowledge of the area.
Seamus was a great guide. He was very organized and his narration made the bus ride go by quickly. He even played fun music to enhance his stories. The bus was comfortable and we felt very safe. The scenery was beautiful and the abbey was very impressive, especially the English walled gardens. We would highly recommend this tour! Two thumbs up!
Great guide. Lots of toilet breaks, beautiful scenery. A must do if you want to sit back and enjoy the ride
I used my car to tour the Connemera peninsula (which allowed me to stop wherever I wanted for however long I wanted). Along the way I stopped at two castles: Aughnanure castle at the entrance to the peninsula (abandonned but worth a stop) and the Kylemore Abbey (well maintained and well worth visiting) and its gardens also worth visiting. After that there are a few spots worth stopping at for great views. Overall, this is a whole day affair and make sure you reserve 3 hours for kylemore abbey, its gardens, and lunch. This experience was made exta special for me because I visited the peninsula on a warm and sunny day.
A informative and enjoyable trip to the beautiful, peaceful area. Seamus our driver was excellent with the information and history of the area.
