Der Gangaramaya-Tempel ist einer der wichtigsten Tempel in Colombo, Sri Lanka, eine Mischung aus moderner Architektur und kultureller Essenz. Es liegt am Beira-See und wurde Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts fertiggestellt.
Asien, insbesondere Südostasien, war schon immer für seine scharfen Speisen bekannt. Die Independence Commemoration Hall am Independence Square (früher Torrington Square) in Cinnamon Gardens ist ein Nationaldenkmal in Sri Lanka. Dies wurde lange nach der Erlangung der Unabhängigkeit von der britischen Herrschaft am 4. Februar 1948 erbaut. Es ist von einem üppigen grünen Park, einigen Sportplätzen und historischen Gebäuden umgeben. Eine wohlhabende Nachbarschaft, friedliche Atmosphäre in einer geschäftigen Stadt.

If you want to experience Colombo beyond the usual tourist stops, book a tour with Bobby. Our 4-hour tuk tuk adventure was exhilarating from start to finish. The tea tasting was a real pleasure and a wonderful introduction to Sri Lanka’s world-famous teas. Bobby is friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about sharing his city. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic, fun, and memorable Colombo experience!
It was good value but unfortunately my guide did not speak English and was unable to tell me anything about the tour. I resorted to stopping in a tea tasting shop to ask the owners to communicate with the driver for me. The authentic curry house was very basic in decor but we had a delicios meal served on Lotus leaves in silence.

Driver/guide spoke very little english, could not really explain what we saw according to the itinerary He was a good tuk tuk driver though!

Tks sooo much ASIRI for this very interesting tour in Colombo. I really appreciated yr flexibility. You let me discover quietly the time I needed the Boudhiste temple... and wherever we went, you gave historical, religious, cultural or traditional details. You also suggested a resting and interesting discover of Ceylan Teas. The lunch was typical and so tasty . I really enjoyed and spend a good and interesting visit with Asiri !!!

Fernando really looked after me and showed me all the sights - maritime museum, the lighthouse, the gem shop (which was actually worth a visit just try on some colourful stones... a girl can dream). He also took me to an amazing local place for rice and curry. He was watching over me when I was chatting to the 'so called gardener' from Victoria Park too so felt he really had my back. (Tip for anyone - the gardener was informative but was just after some money and he wasn't the real gardener!). Lastly I left my water bottle and shirt in the back of the tuk tuk and he brought it all the way back for me! He's a star!

Unorganized tour ! The itinerary was unclear, and we wasted a lot of time waiting. The guide wasn’t friendly, and the stops felt random. It didn’t feel like a proper city tour.

Just fun whizzing about Colombo. Our guide hit all the mentioned stoped as advertised and a few more reflecting out personal interest. He even gave us a wee tuk tuk driving lesson on a quiet back road. We never felt rushed and were happy with the experiences offered. Lunch was delicious.
